"There is a lot to say about our stay at Vign 'appart, only a little bit about it is good. Firstly, our confirmation email from Expedia said we would be met at reception when we arrived. This didn't happen. The door was looked and no one was there. The sign on the door said to use the intercom, but there isn't any intercom, so we called the number on the door of the hotel and no one answered, so I looked at our confirmation email from Expedia and found a different number, which was answered by...

"This was one of my favorite vacation rentals ever. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, completely functional and beautifully decorated. And as if that wasn't enough the location was perfect. It is right in the heart of the historic center on Rue de la Chouette with the church of Notre Dame a few steps to your right. The view off of the balcony was nothing short of spectacular. Jean Francois the host was also fantastic. I highly recommend this rental if you are coming to Dijon."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It's minutes walk from the downtown center of Beaune and was a very spacious unit. As mentioned in several reviews, the stairs up are reminiscent of an old castle staircase, what you would expect in a home of this age in Beaune, so if you can't stand to carry your bag up stairs, it wouldn't be for you. We are middle-age and healthy so we had no issue. I would definitely stay at this unit again."

"This place had everything we were looking for – in the old town area, close to the central market, well equipped kitchen, and a historic, modernized apartment. It was beautiful, comfortable, close to a bakery, shops, food options on a quiet pedestrian street. The view was of half-timbered buildings across the street. "Sylvie’s place could not have been in a better location. Everything is either right outside of the building or within a 5-6 minute walk. We had a 1 year old baby with us so it was great to be able to pop back to the apartment for nap times and then be right back out in the action after the naps ended. This was the third stop on our tour of France and it was great to finally have A/C. It was a relief to come back to a nice cool air conditioned apartment. Would absolutely stay again"

"Terraces were very large and perfect for the warm weather. The flat was large and comfortable. The front door to the building was glass and it was smashed. It was propped open when we arrived but was closed and locked with the smashed glass for the rest of the time. Unfortunately, we were not given a key to the front door and had to rely on luck and the neighbours to let us in. Also, we were told we had to pay 15 Euros for sheets. Not sure how they expected us to bring sheets from Canada! I...

"Communication and check in was easy … we had someone who spoke French with us. Host was friendly and helpful about the property and area. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The beds were all very comfortable. There were five adults and two children in our party and we were all comfortable. "The staff were very kind and courteous. The location is incredibly central - easy walking distance to the train station and all attractions, shopping, restaurants, etc. The rooms were perfectly fine - but definitely a bit run down and could use a finer cleaning. For the price one can’t expect a 5-star hotel though so definitely a good value for money. "

New age and comfortable hotrl

"Three nights at the Nomad in Dijon. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the train station. It is. A walkout to the lift then walk along the balcony to the crosswalk - and the Nomad is there. Reception people change frequently but all were helpful and knowledgable. In our first night, tired from travel, we ate in. The reception prepared a plate (soup, a kind of chicken braised meat and vegetables) - very nice and very convenient. Our room was large - loads of space - but almost no built in cupboards. Instead a wall of two attractive shelves - amazing what these can fit! The small cupboard did fit some hanging clothes. The bathroom arrangement is unusual to say the least. A clear full height snail shaped glass/perspex arrangement in the first half of the room with a separate sink and mirrors on the wall. For modesty, a curtain can be pulled along the outside of the shower facing the bed. Lighting for the bathroom section of the room is bright with a purplish glow. The toilet is a separate room. Then, to operate the lighting, roll down shutters on the outside of the windows, and projector that projects TV and movies onto the wall, there is a tablet. Different but it works. Very interesting and comfortable (although I had difficulty making the square pillows work for me). "

"Hôtel très confortable, déco moderne et sympa, chambre et salle de bain parfaites. Un hôtel comme on aime en trouver. L’hôtel se situe dans un complexe loisirs (cinéma, bowling, restaus) et bénéficie donc d’un immense parking gratuit. Je garde l’adresse pour mes passages à Dijon."
