"Although a little difficult to find, this is a beautiful and peaceful house. The pool is large and worked really well for us, we were 4 adults and 4 children aged between 4-9. Plenty of garden space for the kids to run around and a lovely BBQ area. A couple of disappointments, firstly I must point out that some of the pictures online are not that accurate or at least for us. "I had a wonderful stay at Sophie & Craig’s gîte. The thing that made it was the warm welcome from Sophie & Craig. It was January and so, cold, but Sophie would bring me a wheelbarrow full of logs for the wood-burning stove every morning! My dog, Jack, played happily in the garden and it was perfect for him, with lots of walks. All in all, a great stay!"

"Het huis was geweldig en de eigenaren zeer vriendelijk . Voor ons was dit gedeelte van de Dordogne te vlak. we houden van motorrijden en in dit gedeelte miste we de bergen en ook de mooie wandelroutes. Ook was het te warm om dit alles te ondernemen, misschien hadden we meer ondernomen als het wat kouder was. Maar de vrijheid van de accommodatie was geweldig. Dankjewel Serge en zijn vrouw, het gaat jullie goed."

"The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts.
