"We got towels in animalshape! We asked if this was possible and they were not sure but when we arrived we had beautiful towelswans and the workers are very nice. Also great breakfast"

"Arosa is a quaint town and beautiful. Nestled in the mountains. The views are stunning and the weather and temperature very comfortable however higher elevation = greater UV and greater chances of sunburn. The Aves Arosa home base is ver clean and walkable from the train station and bus station. Note that the bus is actually a van and therefore limited in passenger and luggage capacity. "It’s an old building with lots of charm, however as it was relatively the most expensive stay on our trip, I was very disappointed with the facilities. The tea and coffee in the room was non existent. I asked for milk and was refused it as they said they didn’t supply it. We had one tea bag earl great and one tea bag vanilla. No coffee at all. 2 sugars. We should really be refunded partially as we paid for this service but was not given it. The bathroom is nice but no where to hand the towels,...

"A Classic Swiss Chalet RIGHT NEXT TO THE SKI TRAM! Super Convenient for Ski Out & Ski In, I was able to ski right into the parking Lot. The Restaurant was Very Good and there were other Dining Options in the area including the 5 Star Hotel Kempinski across the street. But the Main Dining and Entertainment was in Dorf, a 20-minute walk or take the Bus."

"Paid for 3 days of half board, only able to eat one time because of reservations. There was no reimbursement. I understand this isn't the hotels fault but the children in the hotel are absolutely unbearable. I slept incredibly poorly the entire time. At least the staff was friendly and helpful at the reception, although fairly inattentive with dining (the one time I was able to enjoy a meal)"

"Stayed here for one night before catching glacier express out of st moritz. Will definitely stay here again. The hotel is a bit away from the town, but they offer shuttles. The hotel restaurant is excellent. I also especially enjoyed the hot tub with the most stunning view of the mountains "

"Great staff, good food, beautiful views. The private Tschuggen Express cable car is extremely convenient and takes you right to all the hiking trails. Pass for all the Arosa cable cars is included. Only small drawback for the summer, is there is no AC, but it's perfectly safe to just keep the balcony door open at night to cool the room down."

"This hotel was one of the best I have stayed in. The receptionist (blonde lady) spoke perfect English and was very helpful and friendly. The pool was open all day to 9pm, with a special child friendly time from 5-7 which my child adored, and it was very clean and modern. We parked in the garage underneath the hotel (for a fee) which you need your room card to gain access. This was safe and secure. Breakfast was from 8am until 10am and had a good range of items available. However please be warned...

Great location and hotel

"The hotel has a beautiful bar and wonderful restaurant. The views from the room were spectacular. Our room in the Schloss was huge even though we just got a standard double room. There was even a walk-in closet. The decor was very traditional and the bathroom was big but was done in an old fashion style with a long narrow bath with a shower attachment. More modern decor is in the outer buildings.They have an elevator so accessibility is good in the Schloss except for the restaurant where there are a few steps to go up. The reception desk staff were very friendly and could speak multiple languages. I could converse in English with them. The location is very convenient with free parking. It is a very easy walk over to the thermal baths in the Bad Ragaz resort. Walking to the town center took me about 5 minutes. The breakfast at the hotel which is included was terrific with many options to appeal to different nationalities. The restaurant in the evening was wonderful with an Indian buffet."
