We were very disappointed with the hotel. The pictures online are very misleading. The staff is lukewarm at best and indifferent to your experience. Location is great. If you book online be sure not to book the economy room and to specify how many beds you want and that you want a window. But we highly recommend choosing a different hotel because for the price there are many other much nicer options. If you have a problem with Blanq Carmen they are completely closed off to helping you solve it. Be sure not to get room 106.

The first part of my stay was good. I had to extend my stay for two days and they made me switch rooms even when I asked to keep the same room but they insisted. The problem was that the new room they put me in had a door window that faced a dark wall that couldn’t be opened really since it was by the bed. So basically I was put into a room with no window. I am very disappointed in this hotel especially since it looked like it wasnt alot of guests and there were other available rooms.

Nice modern room. Easy check in. Central to bars shops etc. Tea and coffee in the room with kettle but we weren’t allowed any milk?? We asked at reception for soya milk, no we weren’t allowed any. So we bought our own.

Modern, attractive, and affordable
This hotel is very modern, clean, and attractive, especially for the price. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and well-maintained. Al of the front desk help were friendly and polite, too. (And bilingual--important for those of us whose high school Spanish is now very rusty!). Very close to the historic center and within walking distance of everything. It was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 10 day trip to Spain.

Great location, underwhelming service
The hotel has an excellent location and rooms are clean and modern. Service wasn't very good and any ad hoc requests were dealt with as an inconvenience rather than staff being friendly and helpful. Simple requests like Milk, ice, glasses for room were met with, milk in a small cup, no ice, plastic thin glasses. One member of our family was unhappy with room size, when we discussed with reception, it was a like it or lump it attitude. Rooftop bar was closed during our stay.

Was a shame that the roof top and bar facilities could not have been open to experience what the hotel had to offer. It was marathon weekend in Dec 2019 and all room's were fully booked so it was a shame they couldn't have offered this as part of the experience. Staff were very pleasant and were helpful when we asked to book a taxi to the science museum, however fully booked but one receptionist in particular

Hotel is recently refurbished, bright, spotlessly clean. Rooms are good size, individually controllable air-con/heating, plenty of hot water. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is excellent. Real high spot is the roof terrace bar, with a small plunge pool for hotel guests, drinks and food served in pleasantly shaded area. Ideal for lunch or pre-dinner drinks.

Wonderful.
Clean, friendly, well equipped hotel. Reception staff were very helpful giving us advice and directions to Valencia. Great location. Breakfast was fresh and varied. We were offered a picnic breakfast as we had an early flight. It was lovely and they even gave us a gluten-free breakfast for our daughter. Small pool on roof next to a beautifully designed rooftop bar.

Modern hotel on the edge of Valencia old town
Smart hotel at edge of Carmen (old town). Max of 10 minutes walk to Cathedral and main historic sites. Beach is 25 minutes by taxi, about the same to airport. Breakfast available in pleasant ground floor location. A good cocktail bar and restaurant on 5th floor. Clean rooms, modern powerful shower. Rooftop pool is size of large jacuzzi, okay to dip into but not for swimming.

Very nice hotel with super polite staff. We got a corner room on upper floor with an amazing view. Room was spacious and very clean. Rooms are furnished in a modern way. Fast internet and desk for work. We purchased a buffet breakfast in the hotel for 6 euro. It had many options - eggs, Spanish tortilla, a few types of bread, ham serrano, cheese, yogurts, etc. They served fresh orange juice. The breakfast and hotel totally worth the price. We had an amazing stay.

Aan de rand van het historisch centrum, waardoor de afstanden tot bezienswaardigheden iets langer waren. Het hotel is geluidig, het ligt aan een drukke straat en in je kamer hoor je alles wat op de gang gebeurd en ook bij de buren. Ontbijt was prima, leuk dakterras, selecte kaart met lekkere tapas. En een leuke barman!
