"This hotel is historic and has cool details, and is located very close to the old town square. The bathroom was clean, the breakfast buffet was ample, the hotel is pet-friendly, which is a bonus for me, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you forget to reserve parking at the hotel in advance, there's a Regina Maria parking garage 10 mins walk away. My only negative was that the bed wasn't the most plush...it was just a thin mattress. But I was exhausted and slept fine regardless. "

"I actually arrived a day before I had booked my reservation and Eszter was kind and helpful and got me in a day early! There was a private balcony that overlooks the Black Cathedral that I had all to myself and enjoyed a cup of hot tea complimentary included with the room. Very good location and multiple breakfast options from two easy to get to locations. I ate at the restaurant directly below my room which has vegetarian options too. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to a solo...

"This is an elegant old hotel. The rooms were a little dated, but they were clean. There was no laundry facilities (even though it’s listed). The pool and spa area are fantastic!! "This was the perfect location to be near the Council Square. Everything was a quick walk. The only thing I was worried about was checking in after 7 pm which were closing hours. Luckily a lady near by let us in the locked door and my guest and I looked around for a room key in the main lobby that may have been stashed and luckily found it in a deposit box. Other than that, it was perfect!"
