"Friendly helpful staff "

"Parking right in the hotel which is crucial in Nazare. The parking lot is tight and the spots are close together, so you have to be careful. But it is underground and safe. The hotel had friendly staff and a great bartender. We enjoyed the location being so close to main tourist area and near both quick food options and restaurants. We enjoyed strolling along and shopping at the shops and the beach was really close as well. The pool required pool caps which is so old fashioned and weird! We use the pool even though it was warm enough outside, because we were not going to wear swimming caps just to dip in and cool off. We loved it! Breakfast was fantastic with so many choices, and the food was prepared deliciously. The coffee was amazing! Lots of families were staying there, and it seemed to be a good location for families. "

"We (2 adults, 2 kids who are 9 and 11) stayed here for 10 days and absolutely loved it, the place was clean and cool and really spacious, the pool was fantastic and the kids could play pool or table tennis if they got bored of that. The lovely town and beach are a short walk down the hill, it has nice eateries and a shop selling amazing pastel de nata and there is a cabana bar at the end of the road that makes great cocktails. Obidos, a medieval hill town and castle is a short drive away that is worth a day trip. The owner is nice and helpful too, an all round great holiday."

"Lovely huge property with everything you could imagine. Nice to have pool table and bar area. Pool nice and clean and the kids really enjoyed it. Only a few restaurants in the area so we drove out most of the time"

"Loved the location, overall we were very pleased with everything, the down sides were very few and just different from what we have at home. Europeans seem to deal with less than the bigger is better Americans, small showers are fine, small streets are fine, but we just seem to like bigger and more than what they do in Europe. House was clean and pleasant, area was beautiful and easy to get around with a GPS. Streets are smaller than we are used to, but with care you will do just fine. Beds were comfortable, the sun room on the main floor was outstanding, the only thing I can think of that might improve the house slightly are to install some small corner shelving in the upstairs shower, it is small and bending over to pick up the shampoo is a pain at times. Otherwise everything was great. Internet worked as expected, TV had shows with English as the primary language with Portuguese sub titles, parking can be interesting as because of the location the roads can be congested with beach goers on some days, hey but you're right on the ocean it is to be expected. The host was very attentive and friendly He and his wife met us within 10 minutes of our arrival. Gave us keys and showed us around the house, and then were off. Loved the house and would stay there again in a heart beat."

"The property was perched on the hillside overlooking the Atlantic with gorgeous views of the ocean, beach and hills. It was a short drive to town with many dining and shopping options and centrally located for visiting historic towns and monasteries. We had a lovely stay."
