"Our flight was a little delayed so we arrived at the hotel a little late. The receptionist was very friendly and offered us water as it was a long journey. We checked into our room (there was 4 of us), and we couldn't have asked for a better room. Spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Good size bathroom as well with a power shower. The only drawback to the bathroom is that it needed hooks behind the bathroom door to hang clothes, but it was a minor inconvenience. Breakfast was also very good...

"Beautiful old school grand hotel. Would be perfect for a weekend getaway. I was passing through, just a one night last minute booking. The hotel had a wedding booked so the restaurant and bar were closed. The hotel staff messaged me ahead of time to warn me, but I didn’t receive in time. Unfortunately, there is nothing within walking distance. It would have been nice if they offered room service or to send a bottle of wine to the room. It all worked out. "The room was comfortable and the bathroom nice. The hallway was a bit noisy in the morning as the cleaning staff went about their business - not really able to sleep in. breakfast was really good. Front desk staff nice. Staff in the spa was not helpful or friendly - in my opinion, a phone call should not take priority over three couples standing in line. But generally, a very good place to stay."

"A perfectly lovely and a quiet retreat! Driving to the designated parking area inside the old city walls was a bit of a challenge with a large number of pedestrians here for New Year's holiday, but once at the hotel we didn't want to leave anyway! Very walkable to restaurants, attractions, shops. Most comfortable and relaxed we have been during our 2 week trip across northern Italia. 😀 "
