A few updates probably required but otherwise a hugely enjoyable and memorable experience enjoyed by us all. "Swimming" in the outdoor pool every morning was a great way to wake up; lovely quiet lanes from the house allowing us to explore on bikes - Chateauneuf du Pape and Pont du Gard within round trip distance. "We spent a lovely week in villa Alexandrine, everything was as described and very clean throughout. The aircon in the upper bedrooms was very welcome during the hot spell. "positiv: host is very kind view is exceptionnel (straight view of the mont ventoux) no direct neighbour quiet neighbourhood great pool 11m long House outside looks like on the pictures. negativ: more than 5min walk to get to the center of Vaison-la-Romaine beds are not very comfortable ( mattress maybe too old?) air conditioning is only one unit! Not enough to keep the temperature pleasant. Above all when there are 40+ degrees…even at 30+ the air conditioning had some problems to cool down....

"A fantastic property!! The house was well equipped, well presented and very clean. The property felt very private with it’s own excellent pool and driveway. Phillipe, the owner, lives behind the house and we thought he was brilliant! Helpful, friendly, informative but in no way intrusive. The house is perfectly situated. We visited Avignon, Nîmes, the Ardèche and the beaches of the south coast which were an hour and a half away. There is excellent river swimming on the doorstep and the cascades...

"Absolutely loved this place. Completely isolated, so peaceful and quiet. Loved the large jacuzzi/pool, ideal for cooling down from the summer heat. Great location with fabulous views. "We loved our stay at Fred's house. Fred is great with communication. He responds really quickly to my texts. His house is located at the base of the medieval village, about 3 minutes from the Roman bridge. It takes no time to get anywhere in Vaison from this house. My husband and I took trips to different places every day, but loved coming back to the house, sitting on the little balcony and watch all the action on the street. I loved the view as well."

"We had a lovely holiday in Vaison exploring the Roman remains and the surrounding area, and sampling the excellent local wine. The property itself is very pleasant with a private garden and barbecue area and access to a shared swimming pool (which does get quite busy at times but is very well maintained). It is a gated close about 20 minutes walk from the town centre in a very quiet part of town. The host, Cendrine, is really friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Vaison has a lot to offer in...

"We had a lovely week in this house. Communications before our stay were clear & self check in easy. The house is very clean & comfortable with everything you could need. The pool & outside area are beautiful & much needed as we were lucky & had some hot sunny weather.
