Great location
First off-Andrea was gracious to let us in early but the address of the property is wrong so after several times walking up and down the street we found the place only after messaging Andrea for the exact location. He had said he left the key in the door so in the 1st floor terrace. USA 1st floor is street level and Italy is apparently the next level up so then we couldn’t fnd the unit. Luckily, I could smell cleaning supplies and found the housekeeper in an upper unit cleaning. She couldn’t speak English but she ended up calling someone who could (later discovering it was Andrea’s mom) and she told us that we were in the right place and that the address is wrong. The cleaner must have taken the key out of the door and let us in the unit but it didn’t look like the pixs at all. We still felt we had the wrong place and was very skeptical about the whole deal. We discovered a door off the kitchen that appeared to go in another unit and were even more confused, but, messaged Andrea and he said we could use that as well so we felt a bit better. We felt the communication could have been a lot better and since he had to come to let us in, could have met us at the unit to explain. Also, felt there could have been coffee, Kleenex and paper towels supplied. We stayed for 2 nights and there were only 2 coffee pods. I never got entering or closing instructions emails.
Other than that, the place was by a great pizza restaurant that we ate at twice (Camino Nero) & close for our hike
