Small high mountain village in the Vanoise massif in Haute-Tarentaise, isolated especially during snow periods during its past, Val-d'Isère became, thanks to the development of skiing from the 1930s, a sports resort. winter whose fame makes it one of the world capitals of skiing. On the Daille and Face de Bellevarde sites, it hosts each year Alpine Ski World Cup events (the first snow criterion since 1955). The resort was the scene of men's alpine skiing competitions at the 1992 Albertville Olympics, and hosted the 2009 Alpine Skiing World Championships. Its ski area is coupled with that of Tignes under the name Espace Killy.

Nicely located and renovated flat with very helpful owners!
Had a great time at the flat. The location is very convinient, next to two bus stops and a 5 min walk from the centre. The flat is very modern and recently renovated, with very good gear / fittings. The owners where very helpful, coming to get us from the bus station at midnight and take us to the flat by car, and where available throughout the week for any questions we had. The flat is kind of small for 4 adults, but perfect for 2-3 adults or family with kids.

Super flot lejlighed, ligger godt ift. til byen og tranport til pisterne. Jeg ville klart bestille den igen! Eneste kritik er at den var svær at finde, da kommunikatoren ikke var den bedste.

Bel appart, bien amenagé et equipé.
Tres confortable, beaucoup d’equipements (manque juste un microonde). Tres calme. Bien que plus loin du centre qu’annoncé car l’appart est au Portillo et non au Joseray, il reste pratique avec les navettes gratuites toutes les 5mn à 3 stations des pistes de Val centre et de la Daille avec arrêts à 40m. Petit Spar à 100 m. Le centre ville est plutot à un bon 500m. Proprietaire tres accueillant.
