"It was a basement with small windows like a cave.. difficult to find it and extremely cold. The water was never hot enough for the 3 of us.. unfortunately we left one day earlier.. it was a big disappointment.."

"This quiet getaway was really a great location to get the feel of a countryside Greek town. Skies were beautiful at night with minimal light pollution. Staff and townsfolk were friendly and helpful if any needs were identified. Breakfast was HUGE, got to enjoy many delicious options and take away a few pastries for later in the day. Perfect getaway in the countryside."

"Loved our stay at Kalavrita Canyon Resort and Spa. We were pleasantly surprised on our mountain drive up to Kalavrita as there is stunning scenery along the switchbacks. The hotel staff are exceptional; the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor of the hotel is very eclectic and interesting. There’s a sweet courtyard in the rear and pool. Underground and street parking available. Walking distance to historic sites and village shops/restaurants."

"Hotel was lovely, infinity pool was great. Delicious breakfast each morning. If we were to stay again we would hire a car. The walk to and from the town was a bit steep and the local sites needed transport. The scenic railway was amazing! "

"Wat een geweldig huis. We verbleven hier met 5 personen. Heel groot huis, de bovenverdieping met master bedroom is een juweeltje. Zalig terras om te ontspannen met een fantastisch uitzicht. De eerste dag was er een probleem met het water en kwam er amper water uit de douche. Maar.dat kan gebeuren, extreem droog en warm dit jaar. Wij genoten van het zwembad en het terras en deden een uitstapje naar Olympia op een uurtje rijden. Ook de Loussios kloof is een aanrader met de kloosters. Ga wel in de voormiddag want tussen 13u en 17u zijn de kloosters gesloten. Er is geen wasmachine maar Violetta doet de was voor je. Uitstekende wifi, 2 grote TV's, mini vaatwasser, heel veel kookgerei. In de 2 kleinere kamers geen airco dus die worden wel erg warm. Authentiek huis, spreekt tot de verbeelding. En het zwembad, wauw wat een uitzicht! We werden verwend met verse groenten uit de tuin. Als je van rust houdt moet je beslist naar hier komen. Zorg wel dat je vooraf boodschappen doet want er zijn geen winkels in de buurt. Er is een mini supermarkt op 20 min. rijden maar het assortiment is beperkt en heel duur. Uitstekende plaats om te genieten van het authentieke Griekenland, weg van de.drukte."

"I booked the studio which was a semi basement. The decor was very tasteful just like the pictures. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Located on a hill where you can sit outside at the bench area and enjoy the view of the town below. The Holocaust museum and the train station are Not a 1 minute walk, they’re about a 10 minute walk. "
