"New property, there are three separate lodge houses. It's on the main road that circles the island. My house had a full size frig, 4 burner gas stove, microwave, full sink, cable channel TV, strong wifi, ceiling fan in the living room, nice bathroom and AC in the bedroom. It's around 5 miles from Uturoa, past the airport. So, you need to rent a car or scooter. There is a small car and scooter rental place three minute walk from the lodges. Called Havaii Rent. "This is a great place to stay on Raiatea with its own little beach. We liked the open concept and the property management is very accommodating. The beach isn’t the best for swimming due to lots of coral but we did enjoy kayaking to the nearby Motu where more swimming possibilities exist. The nearby restaurant that you can walk to, Fish & Blue, is a real treat. "
