"We loved our time at the Westin Bora Bora. The overwater bungalow was awesome, so clean and well maintained. The people were very friendly and helpful. They had refillable water bottles at check in and water filling stations throughout the resort. Rachel, Te’amo, Varuna, Mirabell, and many others working at the resort were so welcoming and fun to chat with. The turtle hospital was great to visit and I loved that the turtles they were rehabilitating had a large lagoon to swim in. The bikes were a blast, part of the fun was finding one with breaks and air in the tires but it’s a beach bike and we were on vacation so we were just happy to pedal around. We’re looking forward to returning one day. "

"This is one of our top locations ever! We stayed 3 nights in a premier over the water bungalow and the rest in a beachside bungalow. Both were incredible! Over water bungalow and surrounding water was beautiful Staff was excellent -5 star and above. Snorkeling , kayak and Paddle board etc. right at the resort. A once in a lifetime vacation for myself. "Married couple own the lodge. They are both very nice and helpful. They have four dogs. One dog bark's a lot. Bora Bora has lots of hungry stray homeless dogs. Perhaps they provided a home to some. Also, there are other houses next to the Lodge. People make noise. Need ear plugs. You need a car or scooter for transportation. Avis rental is at the Vaitape dock where the airport water taxi drops passengers off. Use the Avis Bora Bora website to reserve a car or scooter. The lodge is 3/4 mile from the Vaitape Dock. The closest beach is Marita Beach around 4 1/2 miles from the lodge. It's a very nice long white sand beach. But, no fresh water showers. "

"Great location! Loved the separate bungalow with two twin beds, close to the water. Other two bedrooms were very nice! Not far from where the ferry drops you off. A few days we could see cruise ships parked out in the water. Centrally located. Overall Great!!! Short 10 minutes drive to Matira Beach and Bora Bora dive center!! "
