"Terrific place to overnight while in and out of Male airport. Everything was great, convenient location & great staff. Male isn’t a great place to hang around but for quick in / out you can’t beat this hotel!"

"Good value hotel. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast. Rooms are a little small but comfortable beds and pillows. My only complaint is not the hotel’s fault, that is, there is a mosque nearby that provides 4 am serenading each morning."

"Perfect stay at Funplace, people in reception made everything for us to have a perfect stay! They helped us to fix my broken shoe and gave a cream to relieve my friend who got hurt. Only the last day they didnt come to clean the room (there is absolutely no problem with that), and we found a dead cocroach in the bathroom in the morning just before to go. "The place needs Reno or improvements from kitchen sinks, kitchen, bathroom. Overall it’s ok. The host Rafiq, he is the best , worked hard and hoping the owner gives him a good bonus or increase salary, it seems he works 7 days a week 24 hrs.Rafiq you’re wonderful, helpful and good what you do. "The staff of this hotel were very nice. However, it’s not worth the money paid. The breakfast was an egg, a few pieces of oranges and apples, two pieces of white break and a mini hot dog. I had to go to the neighborhood supermarket afterwards to get additional nourishment. The bed was as hard as a rock. Very noisy room with sounds from the traffic below. But the staff, again, made the day. Extremely friendly people. "

"I liked the elevator to reach my room on the third floor. I also liked being close to the Red Wave supermarket in the area. However, my room was pretty noisy both at night and in the early morning. There were strange noises coming from upstairs early morning. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful."

Maldives Over the Water Villas

"We were all very happy with the service. Also, it was great to have a separate restaurant for the over the water villas. Service and food variety were great! The over the water villas were fabulous. Being able to snorkel right off the back deck of the villa was priceless (and we saw so many kinds of fish!). We had the all-inclusive package and there were still a lot of things (drinks, restaurants, activities) that were not included - that always felt like trying to get even more money out of us (and high prices). Wish that was just a small exception to the rule. "

"My wife and I went to the resort for our honeymoon and was an experience to remember. Your expectations of Maldives are that of a screen saver but in person it was 100 times better, the clear warm waters, the marine life, staff, food there wasn’t anything more we could of asked for. Jau in the main restaurant was so caring of our every need and gave us recommendations daily of what to do. Abhi - in the bar was so attentive and put a smile on our face when we saw he was working Harish was amazing as the beach Dj Babu was always happy to see us at the view bar and was quick to come and chat and give us recommendations Arif - our favourite on the island, so friendly and we cannot wait to make the trip back to see the island again and the staff Thank you "
