"The staff was friendly and helpful from the beginning of our stay right to the end. The facilities and rooms were clean. The food and service was of good standard. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would return again. The only negative is that there are not carports/shade in the parking, the cars get scortched by the sun and may be damaged in case of severe hailstorm."

"The worst experience, booked for 3 days including breakfast. The room was dirty and bathroom was filthy. First day no breakfast and when I asked lady at reception in the morning what time is breakfast she said they don't do breakfast. 2nd day they brought to the room soggy sandwiches with cheese and ham of which I did not eat. 3rd and last day no breakfast. "Amazing stop over en-route to Pretoria. Highly recommended. Value for money. Delicious affordable meals and drinks. Not far off the N3 freeway. Helpful friendly staff. "

"Lovely old manor where you are treated like royalty. It’s very comfortable, clean and safe with lots of amenities. The hostesses are lovely and very accommodating. It’s the only place to stay if you are going to or thru Heidelberg. "
