de receptionist was onvriendelijk, binnen was het een en al stof en viezigheid, de gang en de trapopgang zat vol met troep. De kamer zag er niet uit en was onhygienisch! de dekbedden waren niet verschoon, op de vloer zaten genoeg viezigheden, van stof tot schimmel op de muren. kort samengevat: schadelijk voor je lichaam!

A nightmare.
I was shocked. Extremely dirty, stinking, receptionist seemed drugged out or numb, tiny very unpleasant rooms, blood stains on the mattress, fungus in the bathroom, no lock on my room. Even though it was the middle of the night when I arrived, I decided to leave and look for another hotel.

I Will Tell you something about our trip.... It was only one night stay, when we checked-in it was told to us that our room what we ordered is booked so we will get another room, so we got keys from the room and after long trip we opened the door and there was person who sleeped in the room. So we told that fact to receptionist and se said that we want our money back, that we will take another hotel. She said its not possible And gave to us another room, the room was Okay fór one night but little bit messy. There Is a lot of loud persons in the streets at night so be ready for it. Never again, if you are planning first stay here.....pay more to get better hostel.

INDECENTE All'arrivo già intuiamo di aver preso una cantonata, moquette lercissima e struttura vecchissima e mal tenuta...al chek in ci vengono richiesti 30 € in più per due "salviette" pulite,. Entriamo nella "stanza" ed ecco il degrado, lenzuola sporche e piene di capelli, fodere dei cuscini assolutamente non puliti, polvere altissima ovunque e bagno che sporco è fare un complimento... Inorriditi ci stiamo 10 minuti tempo di trovare un'altra sistemazione e leviamo al volo le tende ovviamente smenandoci l'intero importo, ma credo sia piu igenico dormire in strada davvero. SCONSIGLIO ASSOLUTAMENTE

Hotelkamer met privé badkamer geboekt. Badkamer bleek zo ongeveer onbruikbaar vanwege een ontbrekende koudwater-knop bij de douche, en een toilet dat niet goed doortrok (en deksel van het waterreservoir lag eraf). Verder leek de kamer al maanden niet schoongemaakt, te zien aan grote stofplokken die er lagen, en prullenbakken die nog helemaal vol zaten van eerdere gasten. Gordijnen konden niet eens helemaal dicht. Beddengoed was volgens mij het enige schone, en ook dat was slordig en binnenstebuiten opgemaakt. Handdoeken moesten we voor bijbetalen, maar we kregen versleten oude doeken. Zeker geen aanrader dus.

Katastrophe, es ist alles dreckig und kaputt und kostet extra,Personal schnell gestreßt wg.nichts. Früheres Einchecken kostet extra.Mußte Handtücher bezahlen obwohl ich eigene hatte und keine brauchte.Keine 24 h Rezeption, trotz Covid 19 kein Desinfektionsmittel und generelle Sauberkeit, Aufenthaltsraum bis in die kleinste Ecke zugestellt, Küche ekelig und kaputt. Bilder entsprechen nicht der Wirklichkeit. Nicht zu empfehlen.Tv ging nicht.Dusche defekt und schimmlig.Trotz Covid19 hatte ich nicht meine eigene Toilette obwohl so vorgeschrieben.Fenster im Zimmer dreckig und kaputt.Kommt man in die Eingangstür ist dort ein stinkender kaputter Teppich auf der Treppe. Würde hier gerne Fotos posten,wie geht das ?

Ontzettend vies. Katten waar je overheen moet stappen en zo te ruiken hun behoefte op de gestoffeerde trap doen. Plafond badkamer meer dan 40% zwart van de schimmel. Dekbedhoezen schoon, maar dekbed zelf had een ontzettende transpiratiegeur.

Smjestaj je katastrofa, za 47 eura ima puno boljih smjestaja. Sve je staro razvaljeno, krevet se ljulja raspada se, cistoca katastrofa, soba je mala i neuredna, wc i kupatilo takode prljavo i neuredno, sta reci nista ni sa cim, lose! Kada sam rezervisao bila je cijena 38 eur, a kada sam dosao 47, znaci i prevara, uzas sami.

I regret staying here.
My expectations were low (it's a hostel) and even then they managed to disappoint me. Room was not ready even though I checked in after posted start time. Very poorly upkept - it's dirty, smelly, extremely noisy - paper-thin walls. Very hard to sleep with people making noise at all hours of the night. Also, the sleeping area main door slams loudly if you don't remember to hold it, and every room door was so poorly adjusted you have to slam it to close it. It's a hostel with people coming in and out all the time, there's no excuse for that shoddy maintenance. Room was old and dirty, and my sheets had stains on them. Only good thing was the central location. Front desk person was nice but that didn't rescue the stay. Bad bang for the buck, would not stay again even if free. Utrecht is a wonderful city though and definitely worth visiting.

Please note: pet cat at the hostel
The hostel has a CAT. Upon arrival on a very steep stairs you can already smell cat pee. Also my room smelt of cat pee. I happen to be allergic to cat hairs. Due to cancellation policy there is no possibility to cancel once you have found out. I also found cat hairs in my room. Guests were up until the wee hours. If you are a party animal and seek company, this is your place to be. If you seek some night rest, don't go here.

Vreselijk vies en rommelige tent.
Wat een vreselijk vieze tent. al bij binnenkomst zie je een vieze steile trap en ruikt het naar kattenbak. overal op de overloopjes ligt zooi. toiletrollen, zakken wasgoed, katereismand en uber-eat tassen. het is een bende. Als er brand uit breekt weet je niet waar je heen moet. de kamer was erg klein, waardeloos matras en de badkamer zag zwart van de schimmel. deel van de stopcontacten deed niets en de wc bleef lopen. Overal stonk het naar kattebak en vochtproblemen. De vensterbank was zeiknat en het kozijn beschimmeld. wat een waardeloze bende ! lijkt niet op de foto's van de site via hotels.com Simpelweg te goor voor woorden.

Stayed a couple of nights. Booked beforehand for fixed all inclusive price,confirmed by email. At check in this was completely ignored and price was raised. After checkout no response to my mail or phone calls about this. Lack of basic supplies like bread etc for breakfast on all days. Also 2 cats jumping everywhere in kitchen,fridge included, and breakfastroom while i was eating. Both room and bathroom were dirty.

Got mixed feelings about this hostel. Some receptionists are super cool, the unfriendly one (said "the reception is closed" instead of hello to me when I first got there)... Do not take the breakfast option, it is way overpriced (5.50€), go to a café or supermarket around. I paid for it on my first night and regret for 2 reasons. - The breakfast served has nothing in common with the picture you see at reception, and doesn't include a drink (no tea or coffee). - 2 cats live in the hostel. I love cats but when I saw them jumping in the kitchen I realized it was seriously a bad idea having free cats in a hotel... Also even though the lounge looks nice, it smells like wet dog which is seriously repulsive while eating the breakfast. Apart from that is was comfortable, everything worked well in the room and for a good price! Definitely inside the room I was feeling okay and could rest.

I do understand that this is a budget option, so my comments are not about the facilities themselves, but their upkeep. The (shared) bathroom on the second floor was out of order, meaning that the only toilet was on the first floor. For the duration of our stay there was no toilet paper or paper towels in the toilet. There was also no working faucet in the men’s toilet. There were bags/piles of laundry in the hallways and the entryway looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.

La situation géographique est correcte. L'équipement des chambres est incomplet. Le robinet d'eau chaude ne fonctionnait pas plus que la la télévision,,,,,le lit n'était pas très confortable pour 2 personnes

It was a hell, very very hot, a very small window in our room. I would never recommend if you are traveling with children. I was expecting something different after reading all the guests comments. But it was a big mistake.
