"You have to remember that this is a very remote location. On basis of that the food is very good. The setting is amazing so peaceful. The hotel does not sell alcohol, this is not very clear on the description above, so has led to some negative reviews. The food is a buffet which changes each day. There is also a menu for ordering other food instead (which is where most of the non-indian food is). The rooms are very nice. We did not choose the hot tub option. We got a large balcony amongst the trees. There was no one overlooking us, and I think that is the case on most of the rooms. The staff were very friendly. They helped arrange a tour for us. It does seem that most guests arrange their own driver and tours. I would suggest contacting the hotel before for a list of the sites to see nearby (tea plantation, waterfalls, spice gardens, chocolate factories, etc)... The list is a single page and you would be able to plan your own visits with the driver who takes you to the hotel."

"This is a small but excellent hotel. The facilities in the room are very good. The bed is great and the views are magnificent. The staff is brilliant. They are pleasant, professional and efficient. It is a great place to stay and would visit again if coming to Munnar. "

"Breathtaking, warm welcome, truly a place to visit. When you get here they welcome you like family the 1st view is magical. Seeing the mountains, towns, tea plants. The rooms are clean, bed soft, bathroom clean, shower is heavenly, balcony view pristine plenty of space in the room. Breakfast and dinner was a buffet of course you can order what you like as well. Check out smooth and easy. "
