"First things first: the location is THE ONLY problem with this property. The facilities, cleanliness, service, dining, etc. etc. are all top notch. Frankly, I didn’t expect such a great hotel with SUPER sophisticated service in the middle of nowhere in Hokkaido. The staff are attentive, kind and polite, and there is literally nothing to complain about. While the bldg isn’t new by any means, it has been meticulously maintained. With this said, unfortunately, the location is going to be an issue if you aren’t either driving or comfortable taking taxis to go anywhere. It is not within walking distance of the transportation hubs, and the Aeon shopping mall 5 minutes away is the only commercial establishment in the area. So, you are pretty much stuck at the hotel unless you drive/take taxis. Although it is truly an amazing hotel, thus, the location can be a major drawback. As long as you are okay with its location, there won’t be a better hotel. "

"The staff at the counter don't seems to be able communicate effectively. We checked in quite late and we were told about dinner need reservation before specific time resulting we headed out nearby ramen shop but were not accepting anymore customer. We went back to our room and order for room service but was declined because the staff couldn't speak english. We snacked on our biscuit at the end as our dinner."
