"Wonderful! A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a magnificent Chateau taken from the fairy tales. The owners are very nice, the place is clean and decorated with grace, with attention to every little detail and great ancient artifacts and restoration work done. The grounds are beautiful. "I am researching a book on France in both world wars. This stately manor house has a “Masterpiece Theater “ feel inside and out, and Karine is a terrific host in this beautiful fin de siecle home with 21st century-appointed Room decor. Marine provides an amazing breakfast for a small up-charge, and well worth it. Sh is an equestrian and the Villa is on horse property in rural Tamerville near Valognes. One caveat, you must have a car 🚗 Transportation options in rural Normandy are very limited....

"We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. "Lovely well appointed house exactly as described on the website. Owner responds quickly to communications and is helpful and welcoming. Everything you need is here and we had a wonderful time.
