We enjoyed the walk to town via tracks off the property exploring the surrounding hills.Russel was a great town to stay in for a few days. "A very nice flat that is near to the centre of Paihia, but very quiet and peaceful. The flat is near the pool, with very easy access to the pool for older children, but plenty of safety gates to make it impossible for younger children to access the water without parental supervision. 1 minute walk to grab a nice cup of coffee in the morning, easy access to the waterfront and secure parking."
