"No signage to how to enter the hotel, room was an inferno - very hot. No fans. Seemingly nobody else in the hotel but maybe the owners were above us and there was noise until 2:30am. We slept 1 hour and then gave up at 5:30am and left. Terrible experience. "

"Beautiful peaceful location and lovely property in rural location but make sure you take plenty of groceries as there are no restaurants for miles around. It is very isolated but this may be part of its attraction for some people. The countryside is extremely hilly and there appear to be no rights-of-way so this is not a good spot for dog walking."

"Miguel was super nice to meet us at the villa for check in. He explained how to use everything in the house and even talked to the private chef we booked for a house dinner one night, which was really helpful. He was also very responsive when we had questions during the stay. The villa was the perfect place to celebrate our marriage and house our family for a few days. "We spent a lovely four nights here. The condo was on an upper floor, with plenty of parking at the side of the building. We used supermarkets in Durango (5-10 min drive away) for groceries. It was easy to drive into Durango and take the train to Bilbao for the day too. The kitchen had the basic things you might need (small oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, washer, dishwasher, but no kettle?) and the shower was pleasingly powerful. The air con was very welcome in the sticky July...
