"Fabulous stay, the room was cosy and so clean and well decorated. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and so we kept. Lovely guide of all the local amenities and walks. We will definitely be returning."

"The attention to detail was second to none even leaving a lovely fresh loaf of bread with all condiments to make breakfast toast. The evening roast dinner was superb and our host Jake alongside his ‘sommelier’ Charly couldn't do enough for us. We shall return."

"We had a great weekend staying in the Essex lodge. I found everything to be as described on the website and the hot tub was perfect. Some nice little touches with the sports equipment on the field and the walk in the woods is a hidden gem, well worth the effort. Overall a good area to visit with plenty to do."

"Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life."
