"We all absolutely loved our stay at the bowling club. Fantastic facilities. Everything we needed and more. Awesome swimming spot across the road at the river. Lovely visits from rosie and spud the dogs which made our trip complete. We will definitely be back and will stay for a few more days!"

"We enjoyed hiking down the trail to Kaiteriteri each day, taking in the gorgeous views and bird calls. If it’s really hot, know that there is not AC and the windows don’t have screens on them to keep bugs out at dusk. At other times of day, we were able to open the windows and let cool air in. We enjoyed the kitchen that enabled us to cook some of our own food."

"When we arrived the key was not in the lock box, but this was quickly rectified and the property manager came within 10 mins after a phone call, so this was not a huge problem… we are all only human!. It was not clear to me how much cleaning we were meant to do at the end. I was pretty sure I had paid to not have to vacuum etc but this was not clear in the email or at the bach itself. I called the property manager to find out. She said we had a late departure due to the key incident, however...

"We had a wonderful weekend at the Alpaca farm. The eco-cabin is really comfortable and easy to feel at home in. The jacuzzi is really nice. The garden, the scenery and the animals are incredible: you feel like you've stepped out of time. The breakfast is very good, even if the time at which it is served is fixed (no change possible). "We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. "
