"The room was spacious- had a large kitchen area and a dining area as well as the usual stuff. It was warm and the bed was comfortable. I had trouble getting into the building and for the entire stay I didn't see another person in the building, though I did hear people moving around all hours. The place was older, and therefore the floors and stairs creaked- I felt subconscious every time I had to walk to the fridge or go up/down the stairs. "Very relaxed and cruisy place. Nice, quiet, comfy. Perfect little kitchenette. Excellent location to walk to great restaurants. Also excellent to walk to East Perth station where all regional buses depart, plus many train options to the city & beyond. Next time we are back in Perth will definitely stay there again. "Lovely Host and a lovely property, had everything you would ever need for a self contained stay, professionally furnished with all modern appliances. A very considerate Host with some basic essentials already there on arrival as well a a bottle of wine, milk, bread, butter, bacon, eggs, tea, coffee and biscuits, fresh fruit bowl. "DO NOT STAY HERE! Perhaps once upon a time, when the owners werent tired, grumpy and rude, this place may have been a great place for young families to stay and enjoy everything it said on the brochure. Now only local workmen 'live' there. We arrived to a run down, very dated scene and what first hit me when walking in, was the smell. Dust and old. Neat and tidy but very dusty. Back garden was cluttered with all sorts of stuff. Couldn't use the bbq due to plant cuttings and rubbish all over it....

"Our stay was very enjoyable the pool was very welcoming on a hot day Carmen the owner was lovely and very accommodating she was a pleasure to meet and I would recommend the Spanish lodge to everyone who loves pets as we had a small dog that Carmen welcomed superbly."

"A fantastic stay - everything was really clean and beautiful. beds were comfy. pool was really nice. good air conditioning and wifi. downsides were you almost need a 4wheel drive car to get up the driveway, and you must do your own cleaning at the property."
