" We had a great time seeing a concert right next door at the beautiful Sellersville Theater. It was so nice to just walk next door to the historic Washington House Hotel afterward. Originally built in 1819, it has been beautifully restored. Our room was very nice, very clean, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good too! All the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely return!"

"Very charming historic inn. Staff was nice and helpful upon check-in, and when i accidentally locked my key in the room. I booked the Bouvier room on the 3rd floor which was quiet and comfortable. Being a historic inn, I went in with the expectation that it would be low frills, which is was. But for the price, I think it's a great option for anyone staying in the Newtown area who wants historic charm and to be in the walkable State Street area. "

There were no lights in the entry and there was an sunken entry to the room we nearly fell into the room. There were remains from the previous logger including dirty glasses and trash.
