Amazing 70th Surprise Birthday Party
We had an amazing stay at the property! Surprised my mom for her 70th birthday and had so much fun. Loved sitting on the front porch watching the cars go by and the sheep grazing across the street. Swam in the pool, relaxed in the wood fired hot tub, played lawn games, and built a fort with the human sized lincoln log set. I'd highly recommend this property for any family looking to have a relaxing weekend in the country.

Beautiful place to relax for a few days
This house is absolutely lovely, and I loved reading the history about it provided by Cally! Cally also left some great restaurant recommendations, which we followed. The house feels completely remote but you can be in some great towns in 20 minutes or less, or hiking or tubing or running or biking - pretty amazing. We spent a ton of time each day in the pool, which was gorgeous and well-maintained. Can't thank you enough for providing this space to get lost for a few days before the chaos of fall.

Dreamy paradise
I spent a summer week on the farm with my two teenage sons, two dogs, and my husband. It was wonderful! We were looking for a beautiful, low-key vacation full of swimming and enjoying being outside. The house was everything I hoped for. I appreciated the views and wildlife from every area -- pool area, lawn, and front porch. My boys swam constantly. My husband was most appreciative of the air conditioning, which did an amazing job keeping such an old home at the perfect temperature. Of course, the dogs loved every moment of everything. Have the fenced in pool area was amazing -- we could enjoy ourselves and not constantly worry about leashes. This is the place for you if you want to relax, play yard and indoor games, take in amazing views and walks, and binge a bit of TV. We also had good nights sleep. If you have accessibility issues the stairwell and stone patio may be hard to navigate.

A beautiful immersion in a simpler time
Cally and her property manager, Kerry, were wonderful hosts and we couldn't have asked for a better week. The property is idyllic and well kept and the home had us musing for hours about who'd lived there before and what life had been like then. Our 2.5- and 3-year old cousins spent hours romping in the huge grassy yard, watching the ducklings, and splashing in the pool, and Cally even brought over a freshly hatched chick to show them on the day she was around. We couldnt have asked for a nicer time. Highly recommend!

Lovely old house in a lovely neighborhood
We stayed at this house for a few days to visit New Hope PA and Lambertville NJ. the house is actually about 30 mins from those towns, which I didn't realize, but it's a gorgeous drive! I had no idea this area was so pretty. The house is an old farmhouse, but was still super comfortable with a gorgeous property. I went out and drank my coffee every morning in the deck rocking chairs, overlooking farms. Cally is lovely, super nice, great at communication, let us check in (a little) early and leave late, and offered to let the kids feed the chickens. We were too early to use the pool but it looked great. My only comment for others is that the staircase is a little steep and does not have a handrail, so I would be worried about toddleresque people on those. Also the house is full of beautiful antiques and history so I'm taking it upon myself to tell people who have destructive kids and/or pets to not stay there! :)

Wonderful!
We loved it so much I was tempted to gatekeep this place by not leaving a review so we can have it all to ourselves ;) Everything about it is absolutely wonderful. It was like staying at a good friend’s house. It truly feels like a home away from home versus a cold rental. The amenities were fabulous - imagine looking up at the stars whilst soaking in a wood-fired hot tub with a glass of champagne in hand - can’t beat it! It was thoroughly and thoughtfully appointed, with every need thought of. We can’t wait to return. Don’t hesitate to book for a relaxing time in the countryside.

A Quiet New Years Holiday
The property was the perfect setting for a relaxing and intentional New Years holiday. We arrived before check-in and drove over to Milford for brews and delicious food at Decendants Brewery. And then made our way back to the house to enjoy a hot tub plunge and toast the New Year! Comfortable beds, fresh linens, and rooster’s sunrise crow the next morning were the best- we sipped our coffee in the hot tub, enjoyed rocking in our robes on the front porch, and walked the farm greeting both the chickens and baby ducks. Our young boys enjoyed our short getaway and have already requested a return. Which may have been why they left their jackets in the front closet after check out… (they were promptly and most gracefully shipped back to us by the property owner- THANK YOU) All in all, it was a beautiful way to start a new year and we are most appreciative to be able to experience it!

Anniversary Get-Away
The 1700’s farmhouse is a unique place to spend some time to kick back and relax. It has all the modern amenities you’re accustomed to, but you will feel like you’re stepping back in time. The fireplace was a big plus as there was a cold snap when we stayed. (There is even a built in pool for the warmer weather and a wood-fired hot tub!). The grounds are beautiful, the sunsets are spectacular, and you will have acres and acres of space. The farmhouse is within a short driving distance to all Bucks County has to offer. Cally made our stay very special and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. We would highly recommend the farmhouse if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and serene and beautiful surroundings.

I want to come back!
I haven't had many opportunities in the last few years to get away so I wanted to pair a little breather just for me and my partner during a long awaited trip to see my folks in NJ. My partner and I have lived in Seattle for 10 years now and this trip confirmed everything I've bragged about: the North East is King of Autumn. This house is a perfect place if you want an amazing fall setting surrounded by good food and farm stands. I was angry I couldn't take pounds of apples home with me on the plane. The house itself was so charming, my partner and I are both history nerds (he even teaches blacksmithing on the side) so we had a really great time snooping on how the house itself was built and turned into something that feels comfortable for modern use. It's really impressive! Great snooping opportunities. Overall I'd love to come back, I may have to schedule big group getaway to fill the house with voices and laughter, really that was the only thing missing.

We loved it. The property was beautiful - and the owners amazing. We did not leave really much at all -- and enjoyed the hot tub every night.
