"Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x"

"I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. "

"We had a lovely 2 night stay. Superb location, easy to find, there is an excellent pub 5 minutes walk away with great food. The room was clean with funky colours. A super comfortable bed and great en suit. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was awesome. We had a superb weekend on the Gower and left fully refreshed. We would highly recommend. "

"A homely and comfortable country house in which to enjoy a few days exploring The Gower. The staff are so very friendly and obliging. They could not do more to make you feel welcome and to assist in any way. Breakfasts and evening meals are excellent, and the lounge with wood fire is a joy. Parking is convenient. "What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome."

"We booked two nights here and then read the reviews, some of which were pretty grim. That was not our experience. It suited our purposes, and we were happy with our stay. This is a golf club that has a few (9?) rooms, which it offers. As such, it is not a hotel so there isn’t a bevy of staff on hand 24/7 like a real hotel might have. Some gripes were: 1) The room wasn’t serviced overnight as the web site says it would be. 2) There was only one chair in the room. 3) Perhaps the room was a...
