"This is a cute house to stay at near Truman State. The space was clean, updated, and the right size for two adults. The location was perfect for Kirksville and we could get to our events all over town in less than 8 minutes. The manager was kind and organized."

"This is a very cute place to stay, especially if you love antiques and history. A perfect get away for anyone wanting quiet and, perhaps, reading or study time. There is no TV, and due to the antique decor, I wouldn’t recommend this as a place for kids."

"You could not ask for more beautiful place on the lake with walking paths and privacy. The accommodations for enjoying the outdoor space was great. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. We caught several small fish but we eventually found some large Crappies bass, and catfish. It was one week of total relaxation and heaven."

"This is our second stay for a fishing trip to Lake Rathbun and it will be our "go to" place on any future trips. Wives would even be excited about staying here! Some of the deigner decorating maybe lost on us. Convenient for parking boats and close to the lake. Good place!"
