The best!
My friends and I stayed this past weekend at the Union Pier house and we are obsessed. Not only is Keli, the host, the nicest person and lovely to deal with, but the property and house is so perfect. Clean, comfy and conveniently located a walk away from the beach, a cute bakery and Union pier social restaurant. All walking distance from the house. We had the best time and will be booking again next year.

Nice short stay
Everything was great. We were only here for a very short time and didn’t take advantage of much of what the house has to offer but very comfortable and clean.

Everything was as promised. A little bigger than expected which was a good thing. Perfect location and everything was easy to figure out how to work including the TVs! Property manager was excellent and quickly took care of the few requests I had. Looking forward to staying there again.

Easy get-away from Chicago with dogs
Nice house to stay in with our family—plus the fur babies. Everything you need is available—plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, kitchenwares including coffee/tea, toiletries etc. Hot tub was great on a cold winter night.

Awesome vacation house
Stayed with my and my sisters family, plus two dogs. The house is an excellent location close to downtown. The house itself was plenty big, with a great backyard for fires and a deck for grilling and playing cards. Note that the yard isn’t fully fenced (in case you have dogs that run away). Inside is fully furnished and the hosts supplied everything needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Fall family retreat
This was our families 4th time visiting over a long Columbus Day Weekend. This house was in a great proximity to the yummy bakery and to the general store. We enjoyed taking long walks with our dog down the beautiful quiet streets. We were a family of 7 & this house was setup great for late night board games while others slept in the downstairs. We enjoyed St Julian winery and the Journeyman Distillery which was very close and taking hikes at the dunes. Our favorite restaurants are Red Arrow, Stray Dog & Brewster. Would definitely rebook this house again.

Perfect!
I had the most amazing weekend away at this property. The house was clean and lots of fun activities for a young family. The beach was a short walk away, bakery within walking distance, went to New Buffalo for a facial and shopping in Michigan City. Communication with the property manager was spectacular as well. The property looks even better than in the pictures, which never seems to be the case. Going home a well rested mama. Will be re-booking this property in the future for sure.

Perfect Location!
This house was the perfect choice! It was pretty much a 2-hour drive for all of us meeting for a "Get Away" weekend. The size of the house was nice for 4 couples to cozy up to the fireplace or play games in the game room or eat at the dining room table. The property was quaint and beautiful with a great deck and grill. We had really good weather for mid-February and the walk on the beach was warm enough for just a sweatshirt! The house was well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was clean. We will definitely make this a "Go-To" location when we need a place to "meet-in-the-middle!"

Disappointing
The place is nice but there are several issues that we encountered on a short 2 night trip. 1. MY FRIEND GOT A HOT TUB INDUCED RASH 24 hours after. That friend went to the doctor and the doctor said that it is folliculitus and is usually gotten from a hot tub that has not been upkept properly. 2. Contacted the guest contact several days before the trip asking about the place, including if we needed to bring propane tank for grill. No response until after the first night. 3. No extra bed sheets anywhere. We had 9 people, which you can’t assume that there will be 2 to a bed, but the place fits 14 people and people had to sleep without sheets. Could have been discussed before trip but never got a response from guest contact. 4. PROPANE tank. Again never received response about this trip. There was about 5 min of propane left in tank. Finally was able to call host. We wanted to use the spare propane tank but it had a lock and the host said they would need over an hour to figure out the code. Host said we would be compensated if we bought our own but at that point we already had food on the grill. We moved it to the oven but to say I was disappointed was an understatement because we chose this place because it had a grill. Very disappointed.

The property was nicer than expected and had extras we were able to enjoy (firewood and beach chairs and toys). Beds were comfortable and the host Keli was exceptionally responsive. We appreciate the opportunity to stay here and feel blessed

House was very comfotable, clean. Only minor disappointment was that yard was not fully fenced to enclose the dog. Also since yard wasn't fenced orher dogs left their waste in the yard.

New Buffalo paradise
Place was perfect for our family of 9 adults and 2 kids age 4. Perfect location with all amenities needed for our annual Family weekend vacation at the beach. Very nice area. Really nice having the market and bakery a block away. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Hot tub was awesome too.

Weekend getaway
The house was very clean, only a short walk to the beach . We had 9 guest everyone slept well. Loved the basement area for my grands. The only thing i wished they had was a blow dryer and maybe a couole xtra blankets. We enjoyed the deck and hot tub in the evening hours.

Family Lake Vacation
Overall a nice stay in a pleasant home. The location is in close proximity to the Union Pier bakery, grocery, and walkable to Townline Beach. If you prefer more privacy look elsewhere. The deck and hot tub we enjoyed. The lower level is excellent for teens with an assortment of games and an old school arcade machine. The posting list a higher number for sleeping than we found comfortable. The dining space inside and out was nice for large groups. We found plenty of towels with available laundry downstairs a huge plus. Beach supplies are available too which is not included in the description. We would suggest adding kitchen towels as there are none available. It appears the home is not rented often which might explain the kitchen ant problem we encountered almost immediately. Periodic maintenance would take care of this. Upon entry the home appeared clean and tidy, however as soon as I wiped a spill off the floor the paper towel was black from the dirty floors. Given more attention before being rented will easily solve this as well. Thank you for a nice stay!

Great place for the family Thanksgiving trip!
Got my mom and her sister as well as my brother's and their kids together for a long weekend over Thanksgiving. The house was great for it: we did some lake walks, got coffee from the bakery on the corner, and bought all our last-minute cooking needs at the market. Great way to bring us together. The beds were as advertised, but not very comfortable, and the couch had a broken spot that made it nearly impossible to get out of once you sat down. Also the property manager got confused about what our checkout time was which was awkward. All in all, it was a great place for an out-of-season trip, even though some of us didn't sleep as well as we might have liked.

I emailed the Host twice with no response back. The fireplace didn't work in the home and the hot tub was dirty. The corners headrests left a black soot on our skin that was difficult to remove. Very gross....

Great stay for a nearby wedding
This home was an excellent choice for a nearby wedding. We loved the thoughtful touches of Keurig cup choices, hot chocolate, and toiletry items, more items than we are used to finding at rentals. The hot tub provided perfect relaxation after long days. We were also appreciative of the binder loaded with restaurant and activity recommendations. We didn't have much time to make use of the recommendations this trip but will keep this home in mind for a future stay!

Great find
The house was great. It does need a few updates, but you won't be disappointed. Location very convenient for multiple beaches, breweries/wineries, and dining options. Plenty to do at the house also. The hot tub was great, kitchen has everything already there and the back patio is great in the evenings.
