"Second visit to this charming, immaculate, homey and well-maintained property. Everything you could possibly need for a short stay is provided. Beds and furniture are comfy, kitchen is totally stocked with tools and basics for cooking, parking is off-street, location is convenient, and the home is exactly as described plus some more! "The goal of our three days was to rest and walk by the lake. We never left. The kitchen was lovely and well appointed and we ate all our meals on the patio or the deck. It was everything we expected and more. We hope to be back "

"We love this cottage for our 8 friends. It has a view of Edinboro Lake and much light from all the windows. It is all one floor which makes it easy to get around.The kitchen/dining area is conducive to gathering and the openess of the layout makes it easy to see everyone and get around.Last year we suggested to the owner that the chairs around the kitchen table could be a bit more secure and tightened, which he did for us this year. They were also recovered.The only complaint we had this year...

"We all had a great time!! Fishing, bird photography along the lake, dinner outside with beautiful view of lake Erie. Kids enjoyed the playground and skipping rocks. "

"We enjoy staying at Findlay Lake when we visit the ski area for the long holiday weekend. Sunny Side Up was a very nice and clean place. It was a little small for us and during the winter there is no access to the extended porch. We didn't spend a lot of time there (skiing all day) so it wasn't a big deal. We had a very nice time!"

"This cottage was perfect for our stay in Erie. Good location, convenient to get to Presque Isle, and places to eat. Nice area and quiet. We spent most of our time out and about during the day, and this was ideal for being able to cook our breakfasts and dinners , etc. It was everything that we needed including washer and dryer, comfortable bed, well stocked with spices, coffee filters, and bathroom products. We would stay here again if we found ourselves in the Erie area!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean, and centrally located. We like to prepare breakfast at home, and were very impressed with the well appointed kitchen. Sharp knives, lots of utensils particularly! The bed was comfy and Hulu is one of our favorite streaming stations. Our host was responsive although we encountered no problems. Thank you for a great stay!"

"The cottage was clean and comfortable for our family. There was a strong musty smell when entering but running the AC and leaving the door open for a little bit helped. Would definitely stay again."

"Very nice cabin right on the lake. It was clean and quiet. I was there offseason, but the cabins are not connected so I imagine it would be quiet during the season as well. "

"The location was beautiful with the view of the lake being visible from inside the house. The owners provided every creature comfort to make our stay more enjoyable. We enjoyed the unique pieces of furniture and historical framed art and photographs on the walls. Thank you and God Bless You!"
