"We had amazing 9 days staying in the Fruit & Spice Well nes Resort. Hotel is very nicely located and is neighbouring beautiful sandy beach. We had stayed in Superior Junior Suite for the first 5 days and each of them has adjacent small sandy area with sunbeds, umbrella and amazing ocean view (rocky shore so you cannot enter the sea). As there were only 4 sunbeds most of the time it was like a private area only for our couple. The food at restaurant was delicious and the choice would satify most people both for breakfast and dinner. There were bars at the lobby, at the pool and on the beach providing soft and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. The staff was very kind, friendly (reception, restaurants, pool, all) very responsive and helpful (not offensive). I would like to especially mention Ramson our jungle villa buttler (second part of our stay was in jungle villa) who was absolutely exceptional, proactively helping us with anything we needed, but at the same time respecting our privacy. Thank you Ramson! Sumarizing we loved our stay. One thing we would recommend to the management is to ensure that access to the sea from jungle villas is reconstructed ASAP."

"A fantastic hotel with the most exceptional, friendly staff I have ever met. So many to mention but here are a few notable names, Yuseph, Devoth, Victor, Erastus, Kulvert, King, Marwa, Vinoth. They could not do enough for you, and on the exceptional occasion they didn't (probably due to minor misunderstanding of English) they do their damdest to put it right. Buffet food was fantastic with so much available choice for breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Loved the array of fresh fruit, homemade jams and coffee was delicious. Cleaning of rooms and delivery of water each day was great too.Also particularly enjoyed the evening entertainment particularly the the acrobats. "

"From our first arrival we were greeted with cool towels and warm smiles. The staff is amazing!! Esther at the front desk was very accommodating on our last day- our flight wasn't until late at night so got a lovely extra late check out. The food each day was prepared fresh and most delicious! Our room was the honeymoon suite which including a private pool and the maintenance guy always made sure to clean our pool as well. Having beach access from our room was a great plus because we were in the ocean/beach a lot! This place has not seen the last of us!!!"

"Perfect stay in Zanzibar. If you want a quiet, cosy and well-maintained place in the island, Konkokoro is an ideal place to stay. We felt like having a private beach :). The food was delicious. The staff was so nice. Facility is clean. Highly recommended !"

"Food was excellent - particularly prawn grill nights, service very attentive. All inclusive took the pressure off finding food locally. While the beach was cleaned each day, there is an unfortunate amount of rubbish from the locals - not something the hotel can control. More access to water would have been good. Many minor repairs are needed, like taps, locks air con, but as they say in Africa pole pole. Great stay, we enjoyed the hotel. "
