"A great place to spend a few nights, proper escapism with the fantastic city of Freiburg within minutes. The best bed we’ve slept in for a long time. Very good, friendly hosts. Good English spoken. Fantastic view of the hills from the balcony, 2 great restaurants in the village, as well as the cable car up to the top of the mountain. Breathtaking scenery. We recommend without hesitation."

"Near the Colmar train station and centre of bus network. Very clean, well-run and organized. Very good breakfast (extra). Front desk staff very helpful, fluent in English and German too. Indoor pool looked wonderful but I didn't use it. This property is most suited to families, and is self-catering with small stove, fridge, dishes, pots and dishwasher; there is no daily supply of towels or bedsheets. Only two minor points: the pillows are low quality and very thin, and the main ceiling light in our room didn't work, even after I asked reception to check it and replace the light bulb if necessary. But overall a pleasant and comfortable stay and very convenient for the tram into town, supermarkets etc."
