"The Maclean Hotel is full of old world charm and was a great location to stay in the middle of town and on the river front. Our room, a Standard Queen was clean, comfortable and very affordable over a long weekend. The shared bathrooms are thoroughly modern and very clean. A guest laundry, kitchen with a fridge and a small dining/ lounge is provided on the accommodation level which is upstairs over the hotel below. (NB there is no lift - not a problem for me but could be an issue for others). We dined in the hotel and the meals were affordable and delicious. Staff were courteous and very helpful. I have only have 2 suggestions- a bedside lamp and the addition of drapes to the window to reduce the early morning sun. I would strongly recommend a visit to the Maclean Hotel. "

"We stayed here just for one night whilst travelling north. The rooms had everything we needed. The restaurant attached to the motel provided very affordable meals and drinks. If you need somewhere to stay for a night and want a comfortable bed after a home cooked meal then this is your place. "
