Udine is a beautiful city of Italian art, small and welcoming. The charm of Udine is due to its Gothic and Renaissance monuments and also to the narrow streets lined with arcades.
The visit of Udine can start from the Castle and then continue with Piazza della Libertà.
In a few minutes on foot you reach Piazza Matteotti, with its arcades, shops, the tables of the outdoor bars, the Duomo, the shopping street Mercatovecchio and the two most important museums of the city: that of Contemporary Art and the Diocesan Museum, with the great frescoes by Tiepolo. A destination, therefore, that certainly deserves a few days of visit.
