"Stayed at hotel for a random one night weekend family get away. I read the usual reviews prior to booking which was enough for me to take a chance. "Overall we loved our stay, the decor is beautiful and everything was so clean. All the staff we encountered were incredibly helpul, the 2 free drinks voucher we got at checkout for booking the junior suite was a nice bonus too. Didn't manage to make use of the lounge but it looked well stocked and clean too. Can't forget to mention the amazing breakfast which even had an omlette station. "We got bad directions thru google coming in at night and made 3 wrong turns before finding the entrance. Signage isnt lit or big enough. Beds are hard. Shower took 5 mins to get warm. However, dinner was excellent and the restaurant owner was utterly delightful and accomodating! "

"Really lovely hotel with lovely reception staff. Let us check in at 9 rather than 2:30 without any fees which was much needed after a 4am start! Great rooms, clean, comfy beds. The only thing that brings this place down is the Wifi. There is little to no signal in the area, and the hotel wifi is very patchy, which if they fix, this hotel would be perfect! "This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight.
