We booked 5 rooms for people working on a special project. Some rooms were booked for 5 nights, some for 3 nights. The first day our groups showed up, they checked in and within 2 hours they called to let us know rooms were terrible, sheets were dirty, bathrooms and were dirty. They were hungry from the long trip and went to the roof top restaurant. There was just one table. Kitchen had all garbage thrown on the floor, had just one table, dirty utensils spread out. It was not really a restaurant. The pictures that are posted online on Expedia are not the rooms of the hotel. Out party had cameras and video cameras and they immediately took pictures and filmed them. When they went to talk to the front desk, the owner/manager tried to discredit them. When they said they filmed everything, and they were going to post them online, he pleaded them to stay in the hotel and offered different "deluxe rooms". They found different hotel nearby and moved right away. We immediately contacted Esxpedia informed them about the condition of the hotel. Also on chat requested to cancel rest of our bookings. Unfortunately we were chatting on out phone and it was 11.30 pm, after long travel, we did not save the chat. Expedia did not cancel any of the rooms. We were stuck with more than $520 bill. We had several conversations with Expedia, finally they gave us $250 credit for future use.
Hotel manager lied to Expedia that we stayed in the rooms.
