"The best hotel experience, period."

"Wow what a stay! To start, the view over the hills and the surrounding lakes are stunning complemented by the various rooftops and balconies. The pool was very relaxing, while watching the local farm animals and inhabitant birds. The icing on the cake were the homestay owners and staff. General DD is a very interesting man, and his wife Joti is an excellent host, attending to every need and running an excellent cooking class. "1st floor including suite smelled like sewer system. When we shared our concern, they gave us room fresheners to use. We had to use all day while we were in room. Streets are too narrow for Cars to drop you on on door. No information was given during reservations and it was very challenging to get to hotel with luggages. Restaurant is on 4th floor so that made it worst as they don't have elevator. Terrible experience."

"The hotel was very exquisite clean and we'll maintained. The room was more than adequate with a great view of City Palace. The breakfast was great really enjoyed it and location was perfect walking distance to the best sites. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Everything was perfect at the property except the noise after hours (after 11 pm). Wedding guests were allowed to make noise to a degree where we couldn't fall asleep until 4 am. This is completely unacceptable and unfair to other guests at property. The walls are thin and we could also hear guests talking loud at midnight 4 rooms away from us. We had to let them know to keep the noise low. Didn't expect this paying top $ for the stay. I would have definitely given a 5 star rating otherwise."
