Enjoy this peaceful sanctuary as a work from home or staycation. This private, 1 bedroom suite with use of cedar wood throughout is perfect for two adults but can sleep 4 ($20/person/night for third and fourth person/child).
Ground floor of house with your own separate entrance and parking spot. Includes small kitchen, separate bath, pull out queen day bed & adjoining bedroom with queen bed. BBQ, cedar sun deck, your own private Hot Tub & Wood Fire Sauna. Minutes walk from the Wild Pacific Trail and stunning beaches! 30 min drive from Tofino. Dog friendly for up to two small dogs or 1 medium size dog but pls request before booking ($25/visit). Hike, surf and swim the trails and beaches, golf and come back to a hot tub and sauna! Cozy little spot in a beautiful village
Stayed for 3 nights, first time to Ucluelet. The accommodation was very nice. Bed was a bit small and the quarters are tight but well laid out and appointed. Outdoor area was lovely. Hot tub was really hot and such a treat. Hosts were super.

Perfect Getaway
From the initial booking, ongoing communication, and a thorough and clear welcome package, this little retreat was the perfect getaway! Quiet and private, clean and well stocked with a bunch of little goodies! Hot tub was clean and nice to relax in after being chilly all day in the ocean and on the trails. Would recommend this location for couples or small family, and would definitely stay here again!

The place is absolutely unbelievable.We were a family of 4(2 adult boys) and were very comfortable.Inside is very charming and provides all amenities you need.The outside is well set up.The sauna and jacuzzi tub is very nice to come home to after your day of exploring. The only downfall is that we were not there long enough.We will be back for sure and this GEM is highly recommended.

2 Night Stay With Our Dog
The stay at this VRBO was absolutely deluxe. Every detail was thought of from a fresh bowl of water for our dog upon arrival to a welcome sign with our name and fresh flowers. There was a wonderful bottle of local white wine cold in the fridge and snacks. Cupboards were full of everything. Didn't want for anything. Lots of towels. The property looks like the online photos. Beautiful! Lots of private space with hot tub and sauna!! Bed was comfy. Location was close to beaches walking. Great place to stay!! Friendly hosts without being intrusive. Would stay again!!

Little oasis
What a great little gem, my first reaction when entering through the gate into the courtyard was to smile. The secluded outdoor space, complete with a charming hot tub and sauna, was impeccably maintained. Inside was equally inviting and spotless. Accommodating four of us - mom, dad, and two teenagers - was a breeze. The pullout bed took up a bit of space once extended but as that was only at bedtime, it was a non-issue for us. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, with thoughtful touches such as a welcoming basket of treats and a cheerful birthday banner for our son. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

It's Truly a Forest Retreat
This place truly lives up to its name as a forest retreat! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The space is equipped with every amenity one could wish for, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We particularly loved the vibe of the property, and its proximity to the charming town of Ucluelet was a bonus. The nature hike paths nearby are a must-visit, showcasing the area's breathtaking beauty. And to top it all off, the hosts were exceptional - a sweet message and snack basket greeted us, plus they were available to answer questions to ensure our stay was perfect. Beautiful Uke
Trevor and Penny are the consummate hosts - they thought of everything to make our stay unforgettable. The amenities (bedroom, seating area, bathroom) wonderful. The hot tub and sauna amazing, including several outdoor seating areas. We were able to charge up our EV on arrival and wished that we’d brought our dog to enjoy all of the treats and thoughtful gestures left to our disposal.

Amazing stay in great location
We absolutely loved our stay, the location was perfectly close to everything we wanted to see but so quiet and peaceful, it felt like being at an exclusive spa while we were staying. We were traveling as a family of three with our four year old and he loved having his own space with the day bed in the living room and we enjoyed having our own space to enjoy inside or outside once he was asleep. Can’t recommend this spot enough and would go back anytime we’re in the area!

Lovely stay in the perfect town
The forest retreat was minutes walk to the shops and restaurants in Ucluelet, and to Little Beach. We loved the hot tub and sauna, plus the decks were all well furnished and landscaped. The welcome basket and treats for our dog were appreciated!

Not for seniors
On the positive side, the property is clean and very quiet, and the hot tub is great. As a senior with less-than-youthful mobility, I found the steep driveway, uneven stairs, and rickety handrail quite unnerving. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and there was only one semi-comfortable chair to sit in. Not a good place for someone with an aching body to relax with a good book. If I were young and painfree, I'd most likely stay here again, but as a senior, I won't.

The property was an absolute delight, it had everything we needed, and was super super relaxing. The hot tub and sauna are such a treat. The property itself is just a little oasis and perfect for a quiet, relaxing few days. The owners live upstairs and we’re super nice, respectful and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful little oasis.

A great retreat
This was a lovely spot to stay with perfect outdoor spaces, a hot tub and sauna and lots of greenery. It feels hidden in the woods. I went with my spouse and our young adult son. It is really better suited for a couple on a romantic getaway. We will come back for that! With three of us and a dog it was comfortable but a bit crowded. We had a mix up with VRBO not sending the code to the lockbox in their welcome email and when I went to the VRBO app to try to find it there the buttons in the app didn’t work. Possibly user error. It turns out the code had been sent to us two months prior in the manual for the place, but we didn’t know that at the time. Be warned and check your confirmation email for the manual PDF if you get stuck without the code. It took a bit to reach the owners.

Excellent retreat in the heart of Uclulet!
Penny and Trevor's place was beautiful and exactly as described - we had an excellent time lounging in the hot tub, and it was conveniently located by local restaurants and to hike the Wild Pacific Trail. Would gladly stay again!

It was only ok
This would have been much better in the summer. Found the accommodations tight and very dated. Having said that, it was clean and the hosts were very nice. Even left a nice little arrival basket for my wife as it was her birthday. It was just the wrong time of the year to rent this suite. Hot tub was nice but the roof dripped heavily on us when we were in it. Local stores and restaurants were reduced because of the time of year. If you are going to Uclulet in the summer and want decent accommodation at what is now considered a reasonable price we would recommend this. Mike and Jenny

Perfect Location & Wonderful Hosts
We had a great stay at Trevor & Penny's Suite. The photos don't do justice to how cute and private the suite is. Hot tub was amazing after spending time at the beaches in the cold. We walked to town to grab coffee or food each day and walked to little beach, both of which were around 10 minute walk. The beautiful lighthouse loop of the Wild Pacific Trail is a must see for anyone staying in Ucluelet and only 10 minute drive. Penny also makes knitted toques in various styles for sale in the suite with profits being donated to the trail. Overall we loved our stay and Penny and Trevor were wonderful and went above and beyond to help us out when we got stranded an extra night due to a storm. Thank you for a great trip! We will be back

Stunning location and great hosts
This place was so beautiful and so cozy. We didn’t want to leave. The sauna was our favourite part and the art. Sitting outside reading and doing yoga was what my soul needed. Will be my first choice to stay from now on.

Cozy Getaway
The apartment is super quiet, clean and the homeowner paid attention to the small details! We especially enjoyed the sauna and hot tub after a long day of exploring. The house is walking distance to the beach and downtown. Definitely would stay here again!
