"A lovely hillside development of purpose built rooms in the mountains. We received a warm reception. The room lovely and inventive in its design. We really loved it. A small terrace outside was where our breakfast was served, and this was superb. The secluded location served to teem with songbirds, I've rarely heard so many welcome the start of the day. A perfect location, a short drive from Corte where we had dinner in the evening. "

"My god, how wonderful is Olivese. We just fell in love. The gite is out of this world. Beautiful, had everything we need, super clean, I cannot even describe how amazing our stay was. I cannot wait to go back"

"A Bella Scusa is nicely furnished and Christophe was taking care of us. As we stayed in Bastelica out of season he organized a little home made dinner for us. Breakfast was fresh and local. Excellent teas are available for guests. The living room is comfortable and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. We like outdoors and did a great hike nearby in Val D‘Ese to the Pozzi (see pictures). In town there is even a little supermarket. Would definitely come here again. "

"I’d like to write about this apartment, but can’t because, despite booking and paying for it 5 weeks in advance, the apartment was given to someone else. We didn’t meet the owner either who, when we phoned him, we were told he’d made an ‘error’, and that was the end of the conversation. Perhaps a mistake, but probably not, and the inconvenience of having to find other accommodation at 8.00 in the evening was unbelievable (Corte has real accommodation shortages). I don’t recommend anyone...

"What a fabulously well-equipped, private and secure villa, lovingly created and marvellously tended by Antony! So friendly, so helpful and very kind. The breakfast is fabulous. If we come back to this part of Corsica we will definitely return to Casa Maredda."

"Lieu magnifique bien que l’accès à la propriété soit très difficile et que nous sommes finalement à 30 minutes de Porticcio. Unpeu déçue sur la fin du séjour l’attitude de la gérante. "

"This was a lovely peaceful spot. The gite was very well equipped with some thoughtful touches like welcome info and a large map on the table. Friendly, helpful owner and neighbours. Relaxed and welcoming."

"The staff at reception was very kind n helpful. The accommodation was clean modern but slightly cramped. Bus L4 can take you in the centre for 1€. The parking can be really full since buffalo grill customers use the same one. We parked at the back. Pleasant stay. "

"Enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel. Our room was very spacious and although it was next to the railway line this didn’t bother us at all. Food was lovely and well priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the glass bricks between the bedroom and the bathroom which meant I was woken by the light when my OH used the bathroom during the night and vice-versa. An issue which I’m sure could be easily solved and it wouldn’t put me off from staying there again. "

"Easy stroll to town centre (go one street up from main road for a quieter option). Modern hotel, easy check in. Motorcycles - only use parking 1 (entrance nearest sea front) or you will get stuck between two barriers. Very comfortable room with massive TV. Powerful shower and a kettle in the room. Great place to stay in Ajaccio. "
