"Many years ago, before the infamous conflagration that destroyed part of the hotel, I stayed there. Also, every Sunday, my family and I would indulge in tea/coffee with fresh scones, cream and strawberry jam. The bar, then, was most charming. The triple room is like an old granny house, the linen not even the right sizes for the beds, towels not that clean, no bathfoams etc sachet, wardrobe has only 4 hangers, no drinking water supplied, no glasses. Just cups, tea/coffee sachet supplied with very cheap plastic spoons. It was too cold and the aircon was disfuctioning, No enough plugs for cellphone chargers and other electronics.
