"Overall it was a good experience, and wonderful that it was pet-friendly. Loved having the fire going! The dog could get under the house (beneath the deck) so that was challenging to get him to come out, and not to eat the seeds/nuts in the garden. One area of improvement could be to block it off. It would also be good if some spare linen and/or washing detergent could be supplied as there was only one towel per person."

The surrounding area is filled with charming cafes and plenty of interesting places to explore. The host is exceptionally friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. "The Studio was perfect for us, small and perfectly formed with everything you could possibly need for a weekend or midweek break. Spotlessly clean and comfy bed.Very quiet and I loved the tranquility of the views. The gardens were really well looked after and the alpacas, sheep and baby lambs were adorable. Will definitely return."

"Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age. An extra towel rail in the bathroom would have been handy given extra towels used for the spa and for swimming nearby. Rose Cottage...

"I stayed here after my wedding night, the check in could be a lot better as we did not receive the key code and had to stand outside the property at 11pm calling for the code, other than that it was a beautiful cottage, great views and peaceful. The drive way is extremely steep so a sedan might struggle. "
