"I never leave negative reviews. I will make an exception. We were really disappointed in this place. No one works at this motel. When you arrive, you call a phone number and if someone answers the call, they give you a four digit code to unlock the door. Our code did not work. It took the guy who answers the phone 30 minutes to override the system. He lives 90 minutes away. We were nervous to leave for dinner for fear of not getting back in the room. "Each year our kids, their spouses and our 7 grandkids go to Mt. Hood so they can Snowboard and ski . Although we do get together at Christmas time - this trip is the bulk of the gifts we give to them . This year we chose to stay here - and everyone said this was the best place yet ! Good location(though I felt a little close to hey 26 - BUT that can be a plus cause then you don’t have far to drive on snowy back roads . Nice hot tub in a forested setting . We had a great time "
