"I never leave negative reviews. I will make an exception. We were really disappointed in this place. No one works at this motel. When you arrive, you call a phone number and if someone answers the call, they give you a four digit code to unlock the door. Our code did not work. It took the guy who answers the phone 30 minutes to override the system. He lives 90 minutes away. We were nervous to leave for dinner for fear of not getting back in the room. "My family had a wonderful time making memories here! Very clean and cozy. The view of the lake from the living room windows sipping coffee in the morning was my favorite part! My kids loved the ping pong table. We are already planning to come back next year!! The only restaurant, The Stockyard, is close and super fun for all ages.
