Welcome to the Wandering Mermaid. Check out the new pool and outdoor sitting area with fire pit.

The kitchen has white granite counter tops with white/blue cabinets.
The dining area features a large farm house table that can seat 10 people. The living room continues the coastal vibe with 2 large couches and an oversized chair.

The master bedroom is an oasis with king bed, 13 ft ceilings and a quite seating area. The master bedroom closet is so large we stuck a full size bed in there if needed for extra guest. The kids room upstairs is adjacent to the master bedroom with full bed with twin over. The second king bedroom and queen bedroom are located on main floor and share a bathroom. Check out video with drone footing to get a birds eye view of the area.

There are several bikes available for guest use along with gas and charcoal grill. The grilling area downstairs has a sectional sofa and chair with a 6 person table along with a full outdoor bath.

We provide a starter kit of soaps, shampoos and paper products along with filters and coffee for a standard coffee pot. There is also a keurig. There is an IGA grocery on Tybee that is a short walk or bicycle ride from the house if you need additional supplies. Additional charge of $50 per night to heat pool October thru April 1st. A wonderful stay!

Great house! Greats hosts, loved Tybee Island. This was a multigenerational group for annual family get together, one of the best places we’ve stayed over the years. The games, bikes, beach accessories all made our stay extra fun and easy. Highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay! We had plenty of bed space and the open floor layout on the main floor was nice. We loved how close it was the the beach and the bikes that were provided were fun! Plenty of parking space, beach chairs provided, and a nice outdoor space as well. Would stay here again!

Our family of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed this property. The color scheme and decor makes the house cozy and comfortable. The beach, restaurants and stores are in walking distance. I highly recommend staying at the Wandering Mermaid!

We love Tybee and have been several times. This was the first time we stayed at this property but will not be the last! Beautiful home close to absolutely everything. Short walk to the beach with all beach supplies you might need included. The home was less than a block from friends of ours who live on tybee full time so made it extremely easy and convenient to walk to visit with them. A+++ stay and hosts. Thank you for hosting our family for our first group family trip in years!

They have done a great job with the place. It’s exactly what we were expecting and more. I would recommend this house to anyone that has a decent size group. Very friendly people. Great communication. Walking distance to anything you should need. Overall stay is a 10/10.
