Immaculately restored original Tybee beach cottage circa 1938.
Respectfully reinvented and designed by Joel Snayd of Rethink Design who has been featured in Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens and Savannah Magazine!
This enchanting cottage sleeps 14, has airy wraparound porches and the most adorable kitchen you’ve ever seen!
The house features five bedrooms 2 1/2 baths. The house is divided into 2 dwellings, the upper unit features three bedrooms ,1 1/2 baths and a living area with a queen pull out sofa. The lower unit AKA the hideaway, features two bedrooms, 1 bath and a large living area with sectional couch. Perfect for a movie night with the whole gang!
The cottage is conveniently located mid-island on Tybee's main strip and easily walkable to restaurants, shops and bars. To top if off the Tybee Market is a stones throw away!
Park your car and never have to drive again on vacation!
The house is located on the beach side of the street and you can view the boardwalk from the front porch an easy 2 minute walk to toes in the sand!

The perfect bachorette house!
Amy has an awesome property & was a great host! She was very responsive. The house was in walking distance of the beach and many shops, bars, & restaurants. Also, the property is right across the street from a grocery store. It’s about a 25 minute drive into Savannah. Overall, we had a great stay & the house was so cute & perfect for our trip!!

Amazing cottage
This house has everything for the perfect beach vacation - would absolutely stay again. The entire house is very well stocked with anything you could possibly need and is a very short distance from a boardwalk to the beach. You do not have to cross the street to get to the beach. It is also within walking distance from the grocery store and several restaurants. The owner was also very quick to respond with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Great family get away!
This is the perfect house for a family get together/reunion. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn't have asked for a better place and location. The house was beautiful, and we loved the big screened in decks!!. Its a 5 minute (max) walk to the beach which is located at mid beach, which is less crowed than the north or south beaches. One night we roasted hot dogs and made smores on the fire pit in the backyard. Amy, the hostess, was great and very responsive to our questions. We will definitely be returning!!

Tybee Porch Life
My family went to Tybee for vacation. We stayed at Summer Love and had such a relaxing week. We were a group of 8 adults to include 4 ranging from ages 21-24. We would get up and have coffee on the fabulous porch, take a short walk to the beach for the day, relax with an afternoon cocktail on the porch, take a walk to get dinner and end up playing games at night on the porch. The house is in a great location with easy walks to the grocery store, beach, bars and restaurants. The house is equipped with everything you need from beach chairs to cooking. Road noise did not bother us, we are early risers and mornings and evenings were quiet. During the day it was a bit worse but to be expected being on the main road. Parking was tight for our SUV but fine for my son’s Mazda3, need to watch for the yellow curbs. Amy was quick in responding when we needed assistance. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves and said they would come back and vacation again. We made great memories staying at Summer Love and I’m so glad we had the opportunity.

Annual Family vacation
The appointments were wonderful! Family really enjoyed the space. We could easily walk to the Tybee market, “the strip”, and favorite eating places.

Beautifully decorated house in great location!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summer Love. The location on mid-island was perfect with an easy, short walk to the beach. House was clean and well-appointed. Street noise wasn’t an issue at all. Only small negative, which could be a positive for some, is that the upstairs and downstairs are completely separate and only connected by outside stairs. Had a great time playing shuffleboard. Having two washers and dryers was great too! Owner was very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were very nice. Wouldn’t say it had 5 bathrooms as listing stated. In garage the laundry rooms had outside shower which they counted as bathrooms. Tybee was very family friendly and the beaches are lovely. The house was very neat and attractively decorated. We were very comfortable but was not cleaned well. Not the owners fault as there is a cleaning service. Our feet were black the first day from the floors and very little ones their hands were black. Also when searching for a lost toy under the beds and couches were very dust with lots of former tenants lost items. The house is lovely they just need to be sure there cleaning company is a little more diligent.

Excellent home and Property Manager
Loved every part of the stay except two things. Road Noise which arguably they had no control over during the day. But at night each room had a "white noise" machine that drowned out the outside noises and made sleeping comfortable. The second issue was that the advertisement made me think I was "on the Beach and only a couple minutes walk down a boardwalk to the water. That wasn't exactly true. We were 4 houses away from the Boardwalk on a dead-end street. These little issues may sound picky but now that I know what I'm up against, I would HIGHLY recommend the home for a vacation stay. There were so many things that were right about this home that made it a wonderful stay. The Property manager was absolutely on top of it all. She had every amenity we could have hoped for and was ready for her guests.

Perfect Girl’s Trip!
This gorgeous home was perfectly located. Walking distance to beach, shops, bars and directly across from the grocery store. We had all of the amenities we needed. The home was straight out of a magazine and we were all in awe! We definitely want to come back!

Perfect Stay All Around
This property was absolutely stunning. The decor was outrageously gorgeous. We loved all of the outdoor seating and porches. We utilized the large table for group meals, the kitchen had all amenities needed and more (thanks for the coffee!), all of the fridge space was so helpful. The beds we comfy, the sound machines and televisions in each room was a great touch. Lastly, all communication with the owner was quick easy, and she was incredibly accommodating to all special requests. I highly recommend this property for groups or families!!

Gorgeous, Quaint and Prime Location!
We had a group of 13 stay at Summer Love and we had a GREAT trip. The layout of the home was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 7 kids. Our 3 families were able to spread out and enjoy the back yard (awesome fire pit area) and had a great time relaxing on the many different seating options on the wrap around porch. Amy was a great host and was always responsive to our inquiries and request. She had a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us and a bag of firewood so that we could enjoy a fire on the first night of our stay. Beach access was awesome and our group enjoyed morning walks to watch the sunrise and evening dinners watching the sunset. Proximity to “downtown” and the IGA was perfect. We would absolutely stay again.

Celebrating 40 Years
We celebrated our 40th anniversary with our three sons, wives and girlfriend, along with 5 grandkids. The location was the best; mid island, across from the IGA and one block from the beach, walking distance to bars and restaurants. We were able to prepare most of our meals on the property. The house has a cool bohemian vibe that sets the tone. Beach buggies, chairs, some beach toys available. We had a great week(our first) on Tybee. Close to Savannah, cool attractions and fine dining and gorgeous architecture. A great platform for a week long celebration.

It was a beautiful home and perfect for our group. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed the upper porch. The location couldn’t be beat. Summer Love
Summer love cottage did not disappoint. Close to the beach and convenient to restaurants and grocery store. The house itself was amazing , 1938 history mixed with modern amenities. Would definitely recommend to others and use it again for our family

Wonderful week of relaxing at beach house.
10 of our family celebrating our 50th anniversary together away from our homes for 7 days was so wonderful. We enjoyed the beach twice a day, enjoyed grilling out and enjoyed eating out, playing games and chatting together. We took turns making breakfast and laughed a lot. Best 50th anniversary ever!
