Peaceful Cottage on Lake Michigan

Spring is here at our peaceful cottage on the Lake Michigan shoreline!
Book now to relax and enjoy this beautiful time of year around the waters and changing forest at our vacation property set up for two.

Enjoy solitary beach access right from the backyard, explore and search for beach glass, fossils, rocks and yooperlights at your own leisure! Out of the front yard has direct access to over 10 miles of meandering trails in the Raur West Forest to hike, bike or ski.

Just a short drive of under 5 minutes to access the Point Beach State Forest with miles of walking trails, well maintained bike trails and rustic ice age trails.
Cottage is a 7-mile short trip to Two Rivers through the forest to the grocery, restaurants, and groomed beaches.

The cottage is always very well maintained, we keep the place top notch clean and always try to provide the needed essentials for your stay. Including a food pantry with essentials and snacks. And a stocked refrigerator with all unopened new essentials for your stay. Bathroom is stocked as well with towels and all cleaning essentials.

The cottage is set back down a long blacktop driveway from a low traffic road and is one of the last few true quiet places around that will provide a wonderful relaxing stay all to yourselves. With the large yard overlooking the lake you will be able enjoy everything it has to offer while BBQing, having a outdoor picnic, outdoor games, and our new addition for this year a propane fire pit on the back deck.

All we ask is that you try to keep the place clean and have a great time! There is no hidden fees or cleaning fees or chores to do except wash your dishes before leaving.

Peaceful Getaway
I wanted to be on Lake Michigan and my husband wanted to be in the woods. This property was the best of both. It was perfect in every way and we would love to stay here again. The host is amazing and recommend great places to visit.

The pictures do not do its justice. The land that this Cabin is on is gorgeous. The cabin itself was spacious and so clean. The owners are extremely gracious with the amenities I will absolutely return.

Relaxing Get Away
Nice cozy place with a great porch or beach to enjoy the sound of the wind in the pines or waves of Lake Michigan and unwind. Great place not far from town but out in the woods. .

Perfect New Year's Getaway
It felt like a home - it was well stocked to meet all our needs. Lots of helpful notes in the house with ideas of things to do. The location is fantastic right on the lake and with easy access to the school forest.

Relaxing Getaway
It was a very cozy place to stay, and we appreciated the effort that the owners put into ensuring it would be a pleasant stay (e.g. the house was very clean, it was stocked with food and drinks, and it had pamphlets/magazines with information on activities available at the property and nearby towns). The beach was also easy to access, and the surrounding area was beautiful. We would definitely recommend it to any couple seeking a relaxingly quiet getaway.

We had an amazing time. The cottage is clean,comfy, and well stocked with anything that you may need. We relaxed and enjoyed our time together on the beach and just sitting together on the porch. We are already planning our stay here again next year. One of the best stays we've had.

Restful Relaxation
This cottage offers everything to relax and decompress. In addition to enjoying the amenities, we also walked the beach after dark and found yooperlites. We ate at one of the local restaurants for dinner one evening. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is the perfect place to rest and relax! The cottage is beautiful, clean and well-kept. It is in the perfect location! We had a great time exploring the nearby trails and beaches. Amazing
We loved it here! First off the hosts were amazing. The property is absolutely beautiful! We saw a herd of deer, a fox den, heard a fox, found some cool rocks, looked at the stars and really enjoyed our time. This is one of our favorite places we have stayed and we will absolutely be back. Thank you for being the best hosts ever! Also the arcade games were so fun we ended up buying one!

Quiet, peaceful and cozy
This place was amazing! Better than what we expected. The cottage was clean and cozy, they have a really nice fireplace that is perfect for the colder nights. Levi messaged us right away when we booked through Vrbo making sure we knew exactly where we were going and to see if we had questions. We will definitely come here again summer time so we can enjoy the beach area more!

Fantastic Location On Lake Michigan
The property is in an ideal location, if you want rest and relaxation. The owner provides everything you would ever need to make your stay perfect. Communication with Russ was exemplary, he really goes the "extra mile". We had a lovely time, exploring the shoreline and the local forest, as well as sampling the Wisconsin hospitality in Two Rivers and Manitowoc. A brilliant four day break, we would highly recommend.

Anniversary Getaway
Once again our time was special! Every time we stay, we go home relaxed, reconnected and rejuvenated. Every need is met at this property and the owners truly care! The beauty can't be put into words. Beauty and the Beach
This is an exceptionally nice property with Lake Michigan views and access. Outside and inside the accommodations are well suited for rest and relaxation. The hosts provide more than enough essentials to make packing light a reality. The property is located several small communities with scheduled events, activities and sightseeing opportunities. The hosts are sincerely interested in your stay. Our stay was too short this time, but we will return for a longer stay next time.

Rejuvenated!
We've stayed before and have touched on the wonderful details. This trip for us was needed and rejuvenated us. In addition to the owners being the most generous people who truly care, we needed the ambiance of the cottage. If you are familiar with "mindfulness" you have what you need. The smell of the coffee, the waves crashing the beach, the wind whistling thru the trees, the warm fire and extra food treats all allow you to relax and spend undistracted time together. Cute and comfy cottage with a real short walk to a private beach on Lake Michigan. Can’t say enough about the owner and all he supplies. Well thought of with everything. Our New Favorite Vacation Spot
A spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated cabin in the woods, leading to a very private Lake Michigan beach. Thoughtful and delightful added touches that included man drinks, snacks, food staples, toiletries and entertainment. Especially loved the delicious coffee, arcade,bikes, yoopers, an eagle soaring past at sunrise and enjoying the music of our youth. Not enough room to fully describe but hope to return! Quiet, Winter Get-A-Way
This was our third time staying at this property. Once again, it exceeded our expectations! The owners provided extra items for our added comfort. The lake had a winter beauty and the woods were so quiet and calming. We enjoyed a walk to the beach each day followed up with hot chocolate sitting by the outdoor fire. Once inside, we relaxed by the inside fireplace. If tranquility is what you crave, this is the property. Thank you, Levi, Russ and family for another outstanding stay!

Second Time Staying Here and Already Planning On Our Next Stay There
Since this was our 2nd time staying here we had planned on going out to explore the surrounding cities. But as soon as we walked into this cottage we remembered how peaceful it is there, so we only left the cottage twice to pick up some food at the grocery store. If you are looking for peace and quiet to decompress from everyday life this is the cottage to stay at! You’ll feel like you are in the middle of a forest but with a very short walk to the beach in which you will feel like the only people there most of the time. The cottage is very clean - the bathroom is large with a nice large shower and the mattress is very comfortable (not too hard and not too soft). Also the owners are very nice and respond quickly to any of your questions.

We can’t even begin to say how much we enjoyed our relaxing stay at this beautiful property. It was so nice from start to finish. The hosts were extremely fast and helpful with communication. They offered us to check in early and check out late. The view of Lake Michigan through the pine trees was amazing. The sound of the waves, the lovely beach. Nice trails. The property was well maintained and very clean. All of the amenities were such an extra as well. Snacks, beverages, and even a birthday dessert for my husband. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace, outdoor propane fire, and even played video games and rode the bikes We plan to visit again next year!

Wonderful Experience
This is the first time we had stayed at a vacation rental, and this property and the whole experience provided by the host far exceeded our expectations! The cottage is modern, super clean and thoughtfully well stocked, as well as being perfectly located - far enough to be secluded but close enough for a short drive to Two Rivers. The pictures don't do justice to the gorgeous beach stretch and the lovely forest trails you can walk. One thing to note: mobile data on T-Mobile network can be a bit spotty but workable, and there is no wifi. This wasn't an issue for us, but just wanted to mention for any future guests. We can't speak highly enough of the hosts - Russ and Levi were fantastic with communication both before our trip and during, answering all our questions. Thank you guys for providing us this wonderful place to enjoy our anniversary getaway!
