"The hotel is where it claims to be... a short walk away from Reeperbahn and a short walk from Millerntor Stadium/Heiligengeistfeld. My room was ready and was more or less what I'd expected, but the shower was very badly in need of maintenance (the shower head was not screwed on properly and many of the holes were clogged, probably with calcium deposits). "The room design is different, we liked it. We had a lovely garden view. We stayed on weeknights and the club/bar area was quiet. The days were very warm the last week of August, and the AC was adequate. Apparently most accommodations don't have AC, so we felt lucky. We walked everywhere from our hotel to see the sights. Train station close enough to walk, but Uber was easier! The location was ideal for us."

"The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."
