The Sky is the Limit Observatory is 20 minutes away by car. Groceries, shopping areas, and restaurants are in downtown Twentynine Palms, only 20 minutes away. Excellent farmers market in Downtown Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm. We highly suggest taking the scenic back road through the Mojave Desert to Las Vegas. It is 2 hours away from home. The Mojave National Park & Amboy Volcano Crater are 45 minutes further down our road! A bus line runs along Hwy 62 with access to Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms, along with two local cab services, Lucky 777 and American Cab Co. In the desert, critters are simply a fact of life. Just a warning for those weary of bugs: even though our house is spotless, no one in the desert can avoid the occasional critter breaking in. The best way to avoid them is to keep doors closed. We will send you a short rental agreement you must sign before receiving all directions and keys. We will need your mailing address and email so we can go ahead and finalize your reservation.
