"There was really little to recommend this property. There was an appalling smell in the bathroom (presumably from the drains) which permeated into the lounge area. The area wasn't very nice. It was up two flights of stairs which wasn't easy for me to cope with. There was an issue on check-in as the email that was sent an hour before did not correspond to the actions required for the parking space and we had to ring up about it. Someone else parked in our designated space on our final night...

"Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! "

"The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area."

"It was the best place I’ve stayed at in Peterborough so far. Clean, nice, and central. Only criticisms are the shower door was broken/not attached properly ( I expect this was a previous resident and hasn’t been noticed yet) and that the double bed was 2 singles with a double sheet over it, so I kept waking up falling down the middle! But with that said, it was a decent place and I will likely return. "

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rutland Hall Hotel, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome from the staff, who made every effort to ensure a comfortable stay. The setting is absolutely stunning, with the hotel overlooking Rutland Water, offering beautiful views and plenty of serene, natural surroundings. The rooms were immaculate and thoughtfully decorated, combining modern touches with classic comfort. One of the highlights was the hotel’s dining experience. The on-site restaurant offered a range of fresh, locally sourced options, and the meals were outstanding. Every dish was prepared with care, and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. Breakfast was also a treat, with a variety of choices to suit all tastes. Overall, Rutland Hall Hotel is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty!"

"The Bull Hotel was a great stay. The room was compact and beds good. The ensuite was excellent with plenty of room. Bar area was amazing and good food served most of the day. So one could eat if arrived late. The decor was really done well "

Great Location and Friendly Staff

"Excellently located to wander around Grantham centre. Key code operated car park was a welcome addition and was only £4 for one nights / two day trip. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming but it appeared there was nobody on hand to help with baggage up the stairs, unfortunately. The room was very clean but was tired in places and so was the bathroom - most of the woodwork could do with a spruce up but the suite was in good condition. I would definitely stay here again should I have the need to visit Grantham."
