"We had an amazing stay! Beautiful hotel location on the water! Not much to do for kids and we came as a family stay. The spa/pool is definitely on the spa side and less kid friendly. This is the perfect place to go for a romantic getaway! Love that so many walk around in robs to go to spa and relax. Wish we went for that so never ended up using the spa/pool. "It is a bit old and worn-down, with lots of historic ambiance. The bed was very comfortable. Having more furniture to put our stuff on would have been nice. The breakfast buffet was five-star; I could easily see people staying there for breakfast alone. Perfect gravlax, many coldcuts, cheese, cereals, a great selection of bread, and one morning, there was even a specially baked chocolate cake!"
