Great Cabin, Poor, Spotty Internet
The cabin was nice as was the area where it's located. It was stocked with everything you could ask for, dishes, towels, flatware, even coffee and we liked it a lot except for 2 things... the Internet was very slow and spotty. It seemed to do okay with the TV and our phones, but once the laptop was connected, all internet service stopped. This was the same for all three days we were there. Also, it might be helpful if one of the Uncle Joe's Creek Retreat signs were placed at the actual entrance driveway instead of a quarter mile away. Other than that, the hosts were awesome and friendly, including Blue, Uncle Joe, and Nikki. We enjoyed our time there other than the poor internet.

Connect with Nature
Uncle Joe's Cabin retreat provides an opportunity to leave the stress of the city to enjoy nature. A short walk takes you to the creek. A short drive takes you to pastures with cows, goats, horses and donkeys. The cabin is well-equipped. When a rare problem arises, it is fixed in minutes, not hours or days. The view is exceptional. I wish Uncle Joe and all of his family the best in the future.

Absolutely Perfect
This little gem was perfect for our stay. I think I could just live in this cabin! We loved the creek. The owner and hostess exceeded our expectations. The dog on the property is the sweetest and our dog got along with him so well. We will most definitely stay here again when we visit this part of the state. VERY IMPRESSED!
